Karate Pig - new MG slot

The thing with Karate Pig is I don't see where the massive win potential is to justify its dreadful ability to suck your balance dry.

A full set of stacked wilds during free spins is 4000x stake, a decent hit, but not off the scale.

When you look at slots such as TS2/IR, which have wins of over 12000x stake on the paytable, and don't go as cold as Karate Pig, I fail to see where the RTP is made on Karate Pig. (But then again, none of us know what the actual RTP of Karate Pig is, do we, 'cause MG don't release individual RTPs or give any indication as to the variance of their slots.....)

Thing is, it's possible that Karate Pig has, I dunno, fifty occurrences of the 4000x win on its paytable, as opposed to TS2/IR having one occurrence of the 12000x stake on its paytable, so you have a substantially better chance of getting the 4000x win on Karate Pig compared to the 12000x win on TS2/IR - but still vanishingly small when you consider how long it takes a slot to reach RTP.

My dead patch on Karate Pig (£320 bankroll cleaned out at 40p play with no significant win, when I was within a hair's breadth of reaching a £7500 WR) was the final straw in me uninstalling all MG casinos off all my PCs.

got my first free spins on karate pig tonite..given fact it has taken nearly 5000 spins to get it i was kinda expecting it to be pretty good

2.02 was not what i had in mind

You have your maths terribly wrong my dear chap, Karate Pig has an £8000 jackpot for a .40p bet = 20,000 times bet size, also, it has a maximum bet size of £20 a spin = a possible jaw dropping jackpot of £400,000 ;)

What's the £8000 win then?

IIRC a full set of stacked wilds was 2000x stake and in free spins it was doubled to 4000x stake.

I don't have any MG casinos installed now so I'm not in a position to check.

EDIT - In fact, an £8000 win on 40p play is 20,000 stake, which is crazy stupid. And no wonder it can play like such a total sack of shit if that's true.

That is not correct. I think you have got your maths terrible wrong mate!!!

Max spin of £20 - 5 wilds = £1000
40 lines x£1000= MAX Win possible is £40.000
So if in freespins its x2 = Total Max possible win is : 80.000

At .40 bet its :

0,40 5 wilds win is £20
40 lines x £20 = £800
In freespins = x 2 = £1600

Had very nice win Yesterday at Wintingo. Was so close getting the crazy big win :eek2:
Wintingo Casino - Karate Pig - BIG WIN 5 of kind.webp

nice hit..glad to see someone is winning something on it.

thanks Satty

Yes But I actually did not like it first off. 32RED seems to swallow all my money when playing it. It was also there I tried it first.
But Yesterday was strange. I felt in a funny mood. And said why not lets have fun :D
It gave lot of bonus rounds and also freespins several times both before this and after this hit. I was changing between 0,80 up to £4 bets.

ur lucky it took me just under 5000 spins over 3 casinos to hit free spins...then got 2.02 from it lol

my biggest in game win only been 12 i find it truley woeful ..only kept playing cos i figured it couldnt be that bad and it must just be ,my bad luck

Karate Pig slot All bonus games + free games video

I also tried karate pig slot and recorded all my bonus games and free spins and edited one 5 min video on those 4 videos. Video includes Pork chop bonus, Hammer bonus, Final showdown and free spins. I posted this video to my youtube channel and you can find it here: <snip>

This really is high volatility slot. It can took hundreds of rounds to get even one bonus game, but because of stacked wilds on all reels you really can hit big on this slot.

I played with 80 cent per spin and it took me about 250 € to get this video

Is from other site but is tooo nice to see it, or not? Is not mine. WTG winner!!!!

That's only 729x stake, not overly dramatic TBH.

I really don't see what Karate Pig has on its paytable to justify its high variance 'feel', it's just a dreadful slot IMO and MG have really pulled a clanger out of the bag with this game. Especially since the Hammer/Pork Chop bonus rounds are so low paying relative to stake.

Yes it can go big on free spins with 4000x stake for a full set of stacked wilds, but who's expecting to see that?......

Either it has a relatively large number of 2000x-4000x stake wins on the paytable, but of course they're still going to be very rare so doesn't seem like a good design decision to me, or they've yanked the RTP down on it.

Hmmmm... I just got the "Final Showdown" for the first time... Got the maximum win... only bet x 55... errrr.... CRAP!!!

KK

It's a crap slot IMO.

I'm calling this one of two ways:

1) Low RTP

and/or

2) Weird paytable with a relatively high number of big wins (2000x-4000x stake) which are still rare enough so that you can easily play the thing for ages and never see a decent win

Either way it's just plain bad game design IMO, especially the awful bonus rounds, the player really does deserve better after waiting so long for them to come up.

Let's face it, the feedback on this thread isn't exactly positive.....

I posted that screenshot in the early hours of this-morning - having drunk WAY more than I should have to be playing at an online casino. :o
To be honest, when I woke up this morning I couldn't even remember what happened on Karate Pig - I knew I'd played it, but not the outcome.
Well I just checked PlayCheck and found I was betting £2, £4, £6 and even up to £10 per spin!
Anyway - I played 213 spins in total and made +£200!
(But I was nearly £400 up a few times!)

Don't drink and spin, kids - it's not big and it's not clever!

Yeah, all my worst online clangers have been when I was a few sheets to the wind....

Most recently evidenced by me playing £45 per spin red/black on 3Dice's roulette, finishing off with a random £15 bet just to get rid of my remaining balance :lolsign:

(Amazingly, despite this profligacy, after two weeks of play at 3Dice I'm still nicely in profit overall!)

Last week I took my first spin on this slot. My mouse cursor was hovering over start auto-play on 500 spins, when I noticed I hadn't changed the bet from $2 to 40 cents, lucky for me this time, I noticed in time and on my very first spin I hit free spins. $2 feature win. I came back to the slot and hit 50x early on and decided to leave.

It wasn't to yesterday that I decided to give it a proper go. 400 spins to hit first feature that was a bonus round, then in the next 149 spins I hit 50x, 75x, then 195x on the base game. Then free spins came 91 spins later at 0.80 for 20x bet. Starting balance £97.63, closing balance £137.80.

This screen shot was pure Karma for me!
