Hi all

Just been reading... and learning more about WW1.

I'm pretty well read... thought I knew a bit... but geez... I didn't know anything!!!

Am sure there are fellow boardies who are related to.... and/or appreciate what these guys went through?

I'm a Kiwi but live in Aus. The ANZACS!!!

I recommend reading "Forgotten Voices of the Great War" by Max Arthur.

It's a fascinating read of eyewitness accounts from both sides. Schoolkids, parents, wives, and of course the soldiers themselves. It's riveting.

If anyone is listening.... lots and lots of aussie and kiwi diggers died... they wre expendable
