In the game of Texas Holdem it is my belief that in order for a game to be fair and honest there can be nothing that changes the outcome of any hand,or predetermines the outcome of any hand to favor any given player because of any reason such as because they are in a mandatory all in or because they are new to the site, etc. I'm sure everyone who plays regularly has witnessed these things happening as I have.
It has never been more obvious or confirmed to me than lately when I joined a free site that allows you to click on a player to see what type of membership they have. You can either play for free or become a member which allows you to enter more tournaments where you can win money and get more chips each month.
In the beginning they offer a free test. I personally cashed 4 times the first month for 200.00 became a member and haven't cashed since. Several times in the past couple of weeks I have been playing in a tournament and noticed a player who was winning almost every hand they were in which was almost every hand with terrible starting hands. Needless to say a loose player.
These players were either in first place or top ten out of 50 to 150 players as an estimate and taking out players who were in the top rankings. At least 3 times after seeing this happening I clicked under the persons avatar to see that they were on free test and the software was dealing to them. There is no way to believe that you are getting true results when you see this type of thing happen. How can anyone possibly think that online poker is on the up and up when this type of thing is a regular practice.
If the percentage of profit for a successful player isn't much anyway which is why you have to build your bankroll in order to play higher levels in order to make enough to survive as a poker player, this type of practice affects the odds of you winning enough to take away that small profit. I have heard this said many times.
The site doesn't care which person wins or loses, but I have to believe in some cases they don't care who loses but they sure care if new people win.
