In the game of Texas Holdem it is my belief that in order for a game to be fair and honest there can be nothing that changes the outcome of any hand,or predetermines the outcome of any hand to favor any given player because of any reason such as because they are in a mandatory all in or because they are new to the site, etc. I'm sure everyone who plays regularly has witnessed these things happening as I have.

It has never been more obvious or confirmed to me than lately when I joined a free site that allows you to click on a player to see what type of membership they have. You can either play for free or become a member which allows you to enter more tournaments where you can win money and get more chips each month.

In the beginning they offer a free test. I personally cashed 4 times the first month for 200.00 became a member and haven't cashed since. Several times in the past couple of weeks I have been playing in a tournament and noticed a player who was winning almost every hand they were in which was almost every hand with terrible starting hands. Needless to say a loose player.

These players were either in first place or top ten out of 50 to 150 players as an estimate and taking out players who were in the top rankings. At least 3 times after seeing this happening I clicked under the persons avatar to see that they were on free test and the software was dealing to them. There is no way to believe that you are getting true results when you see this type of thing happen. How can anyone possibly think that online poker is on the up and up when this type of thing is a regular practice.

If the percentage of profit for a successful player isn't much anyway which is why you have to build your bankroll in order to play higher levels in order to make enough to survive as a poker player, this type of practice affects the odds of you winning enough to take away that small profit. I have heard this said many times.

The site doesn't care which person wins or loses, but I have to believe in some cases they don't care who loses but they sure care if new people win.

Be nice, Mr. Nifty!! :p

What Nifty is trying to tell you is it is hard to read what people write if they don't break it up into short paragraphs with a space in between! We all had to learn that when we were new to posting! ;)

Also, spelling Rogue correctly (means bad, bad, bad casino) is another big deal here. People use Rouge, which means Red. Us gamblers are sort of picky, no? :D

I hear you uncle and whether it's poker, social games or your damn cable bill, everything is centered around the new customer and the hell with old time loyal ones. Everywhere you go. :) Things sure do change.
p.s. I had no problem reading your big paragraph. lol

Can anyone lend this person some paragraphs?

:D

I thought about asking someone else to thank you for me but
nah.
Thank you Nifty and please forgive this self taught illiterate and professional stick fetcher I might add for his lack of communication and typing skills.
I'm sure my posts will have a wealth of problems that will only be able to be corrected as long as someone brings it to my attention and for that I am grateful.

Thank you very much jod for the clarification and understanding. Unfortunately I am new to so much and even though we will all benefit from my improvement, in the mean time I will be guilty of unintentionally causing some nashing of teeth.

Thank you

Created paragraphs for you. Now perhaps people will comment on the content; not the appearance.

Is that possible to add paragraphs automatically after given number of words? Consider it as suggestion :)

Thank you felicie

It bothers me just as bad if I feel like I'm being dealt to because it leads me to believe it isn't random. I've joined a couple of sites that immediately dealt me the types of hands you very rarely see.

I have a saying that you can't make an intelligent decision without all of the information and if that information is false then so is your decision or view of your improvement, and if you bet based on the odds along with your people reading skills you will lose more than you normally would simply because different percentages of people will be being dealt to.

OP, are you talking about WPT Club? What I found interesting about them is that they are using the same software and version as the cheating Ultimate Bet software. While I doubt they are superusing, it is funny that with all of the defunct poker software out there they chose the only one on the market with a cheating past.

To Bcorn's Uncle - Use reputable poker software such as MG - you can play Anonymous cash Tables - so you no-one can even track your poker play. Useful if you play a lot and other poker players get used to your style.

To felice - I totally disagree with your comment - retention of all players is 'one of the prime directives' - in poker, new players will be given initial incentives, but regular players get a lot more!!!

Daz

The reason anonymous tables have not caught on is because there is no way to know if there is cheating going on. If tracking software did not work at a room catching collusion would be next to impossible. Considering MG's terrible poker track record I would not trust them to do anything right and giving players the ability to sit at a table without disclosing who they are makes it really hard to catch cheats.

I've caught several over the years and I cannot see how the small upside of playing anonymously can counter the obvious issues of getting cheated and not being able to even know who did it or gather the information needed to prove it. Without tracking software, it is doubtful the Absolute Poker and Ultimate Bet cheating scandals are ever discovered.

Also, while the software at MG may be legit, the company has a terrible track record. Google Tusk, Eurolinx and Betonbet and see what little responsibility MG takes in their poker network. They do not care if their players, affiliates or white labels get screwed as long as they get their money.
