New Slot Announcement Jungle Jim El Dorado Microgaming

nice, they finally decided to stop making blatant copies of their own slots !

now they have switched to copying other providers :D:D and thats a huge step forward.

oh and whoever came up with that name... seriously, thats probably the worst slot name ever. At least playngo is honest and aside from copying other provider slots, they almost always keep relatively similar name too :eek2:

its not out yet though, so maybe its not too late to send a mail to mg to change its name to something like... idk ... Bonzo's Unrest?

Probably ran for the hills years ago, It's not even an original name, MG lazy or what!

Hahahahah! I can already imagine the Wild banana reels. Monkeys trying to insert bananas in each others scatter. 12 500 x for a monkey butt full of bananas

just in case someone from netent actually stumbles upon this topic here are some suggestions for ... idk, revenge ?

*Bananastruck
new netent 9 liner

*Immortal Bananas
243 ways high variance slot with novel feature where you could randomly get up to 4 reels covered with banana wilds.

or maybe just some good old fashioned 20 liner named...
*Bananaboy

ah and since you guys also like jackpot slots, we could really use something new when it comes to those. Something like ... Mega Boolah, or The Dark Banana.

jeez just when you think of it, options are endless and it was all based on just go bananas! -.-

Right from the start I knew this was going to be a Gonzo's Quest clone. How about making a sequel to Immortal Romance? How many more substandard new slots are we going to see? Poltava is seemingly the only one received positively as of late.

At least Rage to Riches added something to the formula.

I just don't see MG making a sequel to IR for a long time yet. They'd obviously fluked IR and TS2 by making them too good and near enough the perfect all-round slots. As far as sequels go, Thunderstruck 2 showed how a great follow up could be made without desecrating the original.

If there ever was a second Immortal Romance we all know that it would get ruined, judging by MG's current creative state. It'd have a worse paytable for starters, likely worse graphics and sound, and probably way too many features crammed in.

This is why I don't see MG rushing to develop it as IR is fine in its current format and has no need for improvement!

As much as I'd love and IR II or TSIII I have to agree with Goaty's post below.

Rage to Riches was ripped off from an 80's Bally Midway Game called 'Rampage' - Did post a video at the time the game was released.

Let's wait and see what the forthcoming Jurassic World and Tarzan brings, see if MG can redeem themselves

This does not surprise me Microgaming has not changed their underhanded shady business practices..
I actually feel sorry for them that they have stooped this low and cannot afford to hire actual intelligent game creators..

Yeah, I've played Rampage many times. Not a particularly great game but good for letting your frustrations out. It's funny after George, Lizzie and Ralph revert to human form that they do the "ENF or ENM" walk.

It's hard to top either Immortal Romance or Thunderstruck II. Maybe it's best as is. Looking at The Walking Dead II, I still prefer the original slot.

I think MG have the resources to make some great new games but have become over-reliant on their existing back catalogue, of which they have at least three or four of the most popular slot titles ever released.

This has made them complacent, and unless one of the smaller or newer companies start giving them a run for their money, it will continue to be like this :(

MG will likely do an 'EA', whereby the big company buys out all the smaller companies or just pilfers all their creative workforce to the dark side, thus eliminating any future competition and ensuring that they can continue the relentless clones.

Absolutely criminal. If they were going to steal the Gonzo game engine at least set the slot in space or with pirates or something, anything. Not just make a carbon copy.

Were it not for Gonzo then this would be a great slot as it looks fantastic.
