Just got this from Betsson:

Hi Dunover,

Talk about good fortune! Last year a Swede became one of our biggest ever jackpot winners on the thunderous Hall of Gods slot. What he didn’t expect, when he was enjoying a few late night spins on Arabian Nights this Monday, was for lightning to strike twice and bring in an incredible €1,800,000 jackpot. ‘This is just unreal – maybe the Hall of Gods one will be next!’ our happy jackpot winner told us. Congratulations to an incredibly lucky slots fan!

All eyes are now on Hall of Gods, which is approaching a whopping €7,000,000. You could be our next jackpot winner – because as we have just seen, anything can happen! Play Hall of Gods now!

To celebrate our jackpot winner’s good fortune we’re giving away 10 free spins on mobile slot Big Bang. So, head to Betsson.com on your mobile or iPad – or download our app to play (free spins are only available on mobile).

TWO jackpots for one player! I suspect that's where much of his winnings have been spent since the first jackpot he won....

Also got this, had the same thoughts ;)

Theres obviously some conspiracy going on, always from sweden, mostly on betsson...:p

.

The same thing happened over at CasinoEuro last year.

A female player from Holland first won a €3.3 million jackpot on Arabian Nights in May and then a €3.7 million jackpot on Mega Fortune in August.

When I get these type of emails; my first thought is of the 10,000's of players who had to lose so this one player could win.

Despite hitting the dream win they always seem to carry on gambling, most likely at the highest stake possible.

It's not really surprising when the same players win as they are most likely wagering millions. Unless they controlled their gambling, they could very easily lose the entire amount in under a year.

Can someone explain something for me regarding progressives please?

If I wanted to have a few spins at max bet but reduce the number of lines (as a cheaper alternative), does this mean the 'bet per line' and 'coin denomination' must both be set at max value, with only the 'number of lines' being reduced to a lower number? Or is it only the 'bet per line' option that needs to be set at max to have a chance at the jackpot?

I hope that makes sense, and appreciate any feedback.

I thought max bet is max lines PLUS max coins (at whatever coin value), so unfortunately if max bet is required for a jackpot, may turn out to be expensive....;)

How about sharing the love and let some other guy win the jackpot:) More people from other European countries have been playing Netent since more casinos have them on offer so more people from Scandinavia play these slots excuse isn't going to fly for much longer. Now I am off to don my very special tin foil hat:D

True that other countries are playing, but most Netent casinos are still focused on the Scandinavian market, and it's them who gets the best bonusoffers also.
It's one thing also to play on Netent but you also have to play those games. I don't so no jackpots for me :eek2:

If you win though osulle you're welcome to share the love with me:p

Will do:p

It's pretty obvious why repeat winners are likely - as you are 10x more likely to hit the J/P on 10x minimum stake, once a player has won they have almost unlimited funds to high-roll for the next j/p.
The problem is, you have to get into the 'winners club' first to enhance your chances, unless you have very deep pockets.
Money is a magnet for more money.
