But he has used a friends card to deposit money (his friend knows and is fine with it)

Ive said to them that i dont think you will get the money as they will pick up on it. Or can something be done.

What a silly thing to do. Obviously, they didn't read the terms regarding banking.

Every casino has rules against this kind of thing. It doesn't matter whether he had permission, if they pick it up (extremely likely) they will confiscate the winnings.

Why on earth didn't they just get their own debit card or ukash voucher or skrill?

Really stupid. The friend could had lend the money instead. Or transfered the money?

Really depending on where it is for. When I was younger I used to play with a friend. Sometimes would use his card in my account or other way around this was at Scandic Bookmakers.

But this was several years ago and not at Party Casino which I know are VERY strict.

I can only say good luck to him. If he withdraws such a big amount then it is 100% sure they will request identification etc.

Maybe tell him to make smaller withdrawals. But yeah don't take it as good advice.

Best advise DON'T do it again!

Oh that is painful to hear. At least you will learn something from this. But it is tough in my opinion to not let you have the money. Well rules are rules

Yes respect for Party Casino. This would had been easy way for them to reject this withdrawal and confiscate it.
But seems strange they have not requested the friend to identify himself. That would be normal procedure to do that.

I'm really shocked. I haven't read Party Casino's terms in quite a while, but I did go and have a look. Even when it is a husband and wife there are issues often unless there's been a prior arrangement.

You shall ensure that all payments into Your Account are from a payment source for which You are the named account holder.

Unless the friend's "card" was a prepaid with no name attached, I don't see why they would pay it. Perhaps if the friend was a Party Customer, and referred his friend, and the casino confirmed that he had been given permission to use the card. Even then, what would be in place to stop the card holder from saying that the friend did not have permission had the player lost?

That deposit methods need to be in your name is not a frivilous clause for casinos to employ.

not every casino is just looking for the mistake players do to take their money if he had permission and could prove it in my opinion they should always pay. i had the same thing on expekt.com they dont even have a rule against it they just ask for cardholders documents in this case

I have to agree with that. Im not sure if I respect that decision either. Casinos have a very good reason for demanding any card used on a casino has to be by the account holder for the simple fact that how are they supposed to know if the card your'll using is legit (regardless whether your friend said you could use it) - it could be a stolen card for all they know.

My friends and family are forever offering to top my casino accounts but I wont let them for the simple reason that most casinos, have a set rule against that kind of thing - and if you think about it, it makes a lot of sense.... Anyhooo just saying

And after saying all that I've had a few ales and am feeling tipsy and itchy My brothers sitting there telling me he'll top my casino account if I want him to... ohhhh the temptation.... heheheheh

Update : The friend had to send a picture of his card , Photo ID and a letter signed saying that he gave him permission
