• the site in question claims to be able to predict when progressive jackpots will hit. This is a completely bogus claim.

Hi Max,

I have to say your claim is completely unjustified. Jackpot Rankings has a team of 12 Data Scientists that have been scrapping Jackpots from Operators for almost 3.5 years now. It also has API feeds from Many Operators who share their Jackpot Feeds the team have built an algorithm around this. You should check out the statistics before making comments without facts.

If you go to the website and click on more information (see below) image you will see some of how the data has been calculated.

Great, tell you what: how about you and the 12 Data Scientists make your prediction, document it in an independent verifiable archive, go win that jackpot and then come back and tell us about it.

No offense but telling gamblers you have a sure-fired scheme to win is one of the oldest stories in the book. If you can prove it you'd be one of the first. We await that incredible day.

Rename the site 'Crackpot Predictions' I'll take it seriously.

So collating data from previous random events and then using it as a basis for prediction is pretty much a huge no-no in terms of research, is it not? Looking for patterns when the very premise of randomness undermines its statistical accuracy anyway, so you create a self-fulfilling prophecy.

I believe the wowpot has hit range of about 20mio, its at 38mio now. Yes, 18mio was reinstated as winner couldnt be verified.

Mega joker, although local is hot at 20k - we once saw it dropping at 70k.
