Ooops sorry
Just ground out the £685 of wagering on Super Jackpot Party at 60p spins, which behaved itself and did what was expected of it, couple of wins in the 60-90x stake range but very unremarkable overall. Met WR and cashed out at £363, which was £360 out of the cashpoint this morning and paid it straight into the bank, so a nice £260 raise.
Didn't leave a penny in my Neteller account for play this weekend, as far as I'm concerned it was just a straight smash & grab job on an EV+ bonus and nothing more than that.
If anything, as the days roll by I'm finding it less and less likely that I'll deposit anything for a straight play session (I was only playing yesterday because a 10xB WR is getting into the realms of free money), that Slotsmeister insanity in June and then the £300 kicking I took at Jackpot Party the other week just seems to have 'broken' the bit of me that can rationalise depositing money into casinos to play random games with a large house edge - which is what slots are.
There's no doubt about it, even after less than two weeks of abstinence, I'm finding my bank balance is looking healthier - (I always keep a £3K buffer in my current account and a £10K buffer in my savings account, but chasing Slotsmeister in June really pushed the current account buffer close to the wire) - to the extent I'm already eyeing up a tasty new ninja gaming PC in the £1.5K to £2K range.
I think it'll be EV+ or EV neutral bonus offers only from now on for me, so I'll play out my 3Dice loyalty rewards as my VIP status there declines, for example, and if Jackpot Party lob a 10xB WR bonus offer my way obviously I'll have a crack at that.
But depositing £100-£200 and simply taking my chances on random games with a 5% house edge? Not gonna happen any more, I'm afraid to say.
