Does anyone know the optimal strategy for the NetEnt slot Jackpot 6000? Should we be playing or avoiding the level 2 game with the mystery prize?
These are the only official RTPs:
Return to Player
Return to player for bet of 1 to 8 coins: 74.9% - 79.2%
Return to player for bet of 10 coins (Max Bet), including the Supermeter mode: 95.1% - 98.9%
Note: Playing the Supermeter mode is skill based and you need to choose the level to collect your winnings. The range of Return to player is due to the skill component of the game.
No info about RTP in Base Game.
Interesting...
A non Microgaming non random Fruit machine style game
I have tried it in fun mode, but was not sure whether there was any element of strategy that could improve the RTP. If the skill is in deciding when to collect from Supermeter mode, then this has to have an element of predictability. I had noticed that it seems to have an "off switch" in Supermeter mode where it has decided that if you play on you will just drain it down to zero. Unfortunately, it's very much like my Microgaming nemesis Six Bomb, and I am wary of taking it on and getting my a**e kicked a second time
The problems is, the OFFICIAL documentation states that it's "skill based", so therefore there is some strategy involved, and one that can be deduced by a skilled player, and further that how you play DOES affect the RTP. This is a non random game, so it's a matter of learning the best strategy in order to get a very high RTP for a slot.
I don't think it's as simple as "Jackpot or bust" in order to get the top RTP, but figuring out the odds from any given point in the Supermeter game and determining whether it's best to collect or play on.
"Jackpot or bust" was the strategy for many of the MGS fruit machines. It gave an exciting game as it maximised the variance, although it did not seem to have a long term effect on RTP.

The jackpot in this game is three jokers on a payline. Three jokers on a payline pays 6000 coins in the base game.Of the seven or so times I have hit the jackpot, I think three of them were on base game, which pays the same as twice the bet.
