How many of you don't care that it's Friday the 13th and will still try your luck trying to beat the house at Black Jack, slots, poker, etc.?

I know that punters can be a superstitious lot, but do you really care? Are you superstitious?

where Friday the 13th is concerned no biz as usual I will gamble like hell on these days seems lucky for me

I am not superstitious - I actually won my biggest jackpot when I lived in Las Vegas on a Friday the 13th so I actually think it may be the one day I will gamble.

i am to a degree, this morning while i was watching the news and having my coffee, i had the door open so i could look outside and the biggest black bird hit against the patio glass door, i cant remember what the superstition is for that, i will have to ask my mom o.k.. just asked my mom on the phone, its all good, no bad luck, as the bird did fly away, the superstition is that a departed one is trying to send you a message and or its good luck i always thought it meant death was coming

Over here in my part of the world, if a crow is outside your window or hits your window, it means someone(family member, relative, close friend) is going to pass away. Week before my dad passed away a crow managed to get into our house....go figure

3 Friday the 13ths!

Well, to all of you that consider Friday the 13th a LUCKY DAY, you'll be pleased to know that we have 3 this year! One next month and another one in November. This is especially cool to me because my favorite number is 3, so even if I find myself "unlucky" today, I have 2 more chances to try again!

For those of you who think Friday the 13th is UNLUCKY and you won't gamble that day, you have 2 extra days out of the year to help keep your wallets fat!! :yahoo:

Laurie when my father passed on our yard frony an back was covered with black birds we was renters at the time when we moved onto the home we bought my Mom ended up coming to live with us we had to have Hospice (((Bless them)) come in an help us at the end that morning our yard again was covered with them black birds

needless to say we dont see them year round at all
