Forgot you had money in a casino?

I just signed into a casino and there was some money that I apparently forgot there, worth hundreds of dead spins on the 69,420th entry of Big Bass.

I don't remember why it's there.

First time for me, but I've been on slots for less than a year. Is it a common thing to forget you left [significant] money in a casino?

I know the situation. I'm a little forgetful and a bit absent-minded. And I have accounts at dozens of casinos. So sometimes I log in and get a surprise: a couple of hundred in my balance.

Never more than a couple of cents. I either bust out or withdraw but don't leave money in casino accounts.

There have been a couple of times I logged in somewhere and there was money which then turned out it was from some promo, tournament or cashback.

Often when I’ve been on a bad run and depositing on multiple casinos, I’ll forget that I’ve even deposited on one and will go have some food come back to my phone and deposit on another.

The following week I’ll go into a couple of them and see £50 in the balance and feel ecstatic lol.

The sweetest kind(affiliate/referral) for sure, I found I had something like $200 in doordash referral credit after months not using it and having my code on a deal site.

The only occasions where I have left money in a casino account overnight is when I had taken a bonus with a sizeable WR (back in the days when I regularly took deposit match bonuses*) that could not realistically be completed in one session/day.

* Those days are long over now, it's probably been over a year since I last took a deposit match bonus or even received any kind of VIP points boost from Casino Rewards).

So nowadays, with me playing exclusively without bonuses, more than 99% of the times when I make a deposit, I immediately start playing and do not stop until a clear result has been arrived at ie a bustout or a cashout.

I keep a list now of active credit on sites I can go back to and check on, seems the best way to manage it.

I keep everything in spreadsheets (briefcase w@nker!) so I never miss a balance.

happens with low amounts too for me, but its always a nice surprise when u log back in
the downside is that theres probably a low 3figure sum lost in the void somewhere

Only once, and I realised when I had an inactive fee notification by email. Not sure why it costs the Casino money to hold a £5 balance, nor why they would need to gradually sap that away, but lesson learnt. If Im not a regular I will spend up in session.

I typically tend to forget about checking for cashback the following week after losing at some place I don't play at too regularily. It happened again just now, as I realised I had about 50 euro (5x WR) that had been waiting for me to claim them in my FairCrown account. I missed the deadline by a couple of days, so sadly they were no longer available by the time I found out.

I asked support if they by any chance would be able to re-issue the bonus but they said no. Obviously, it was my own fault for forgetting about the whole thing, so I wasn't surprised they wouldn't but I was still hoping they'd say something like "Unfortunately we can't do that, but as we live by the 'keep the customers satisfied' principle and since we value you as a client, as a good will gesture we have granted you these 50 FS (or whatever)".

Ah well, at least I get to filter out another casino from my portfolio: No good will gesture, no more deposits from me.
