<div class="bbWrapper">This weekend I played a free chip at a casino and won. So I requested the max cashout of $250.00. They refused to flush the withdrawal, so I was a little suspect. This morning I get an email requesting the following:<br /> <blockquote data-attributes="" data-quote="" data-source="" class="bbCodeBlock bbCodeBlock--expandable bbCodeBlock--quote js-expandWatch"> <div class="bbCodeBlock-content"> <div class="bbCodeBlock-expandContent js-expandContent "> Please note that – FOR YOUR FIRST WITHDRAWAL – we will need you to submit documentation to enable us to spend your money to you. The required documents are in line with legislation to prevent money laundering and safeguard you (and us) against possible acts of fraud. These documents (to be faxed or emailed to us) are:<br /> <br /> • ID Document<br /> • Front and Back copies of your credit card<br /> • Copy of a recent utilities bill (such as a telephone or electricity bill) </div> <div class="bbCodeBlock-expandLink js-expandLink"><a role="button" tabindex="0">Click to expand...</a></div> </div> </blockquote><br /> Now keep in mind. This was a NO DEPOSIT bonus win. ID sure. But do I really need to provide them with my Credit Card info when I have not deposited???<br /> <br /> And money laundering? How could I have possibly laundered money that was never there in the first place??<br /> <br /> Looking forward to you input <img src="/forums/styles/default/casinomeister/smilies/smile.gif" class="smilie" loading="lazy" alt=":)" title="Smile :)" data-shortname=":)" /></div>

<div class="bbWrapper">yeah I think its their cookie cutter email for withdrawals. I will send the other stuff but say no to the credit card details as it is not relevant in any way.</div>

Why do they ask for it if no CC was used to get a &quot;free&quot; chip? You need to prove who you are; your name; address; and your D.O.B matches your casino account. <br /> <br /> Otherwise some peeps would be claiming free chips, winning and cashing out under bogus names and repeating the process again and again.<br /> <br /> <br /> Cheers<br /> <br /> <img src="/forums/styles/default/casinomeister/smilies/smile.gif" class="smilie" loading="lazy" alt=":)" title="Smile :)" data-shortname=":)" /><br /> <br /> Dave</div>

<div class="bbWrapper"><b>credit card</b><br /> <br /> When I won from a free chip at Grande Vegas, they required a credit card but they stated that one should blank out the security code on the back and the middle numbers on the front.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper"><blockquote data-attributes="" data-quote="secret2" data-source="post: 358120" class="bbCodeBlock bbCodeBlock--expandable bbCodeBlock--quote js-expandWatch"> <div class="bbCodeBlock-title"> <a href="/forums/goto/post?id=358120" class="bbCodeBlock-sourceJump" rel="nofollow" data-xf-click="attribution" data-content-selector="#post-358120">secret2 said:</a> </div> <div class="bbCodeBlock-content"> <div class="bbCodeBlock-expandContent js-expandContent "> When I won from a free chip at Grande Vegas, they required a credit card but they stated that one should blank out the security code on the back and the middle numbers on the front. </div> <div class="bbCodeBlock-expandLink js-expandLink"><a role="button" tabindex="0">Click to expand...</a></div> </div> </blockquote><br /> You can blank out the first 12 digits of a CC. EG:<br /> xxxx xxxx xxxx 9999 <br /> <br /> Though some places require you to display 6 number. So I send 6 to save having to resend:<br /> <br /> xxxx xxxx xx99 9999<br /> <br /> And as secret2 said, the security code on back of card needs to be hidden.<br /> <br /> As far as your utility bill make sure it&#039;s no more than 3 months old. If you don&#039;t have any utilities in your name a bank statement is fine too. But blank out your account numbers and your transactions including balances.<br /> <br /> The casino only requires proof of ID and address. Anything else is non of their business.<br /> <br /> <br /> Cheers<br /> <br /> <img src="/forums/styles/default/casinomeister/smilies/smile.gif" class="smilie" loading="lazy" alt=":)" title="Smile :)" data-shortname=":)" /><br /> <br /> Dave</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">@Dave<br /> <br /> I sent them digital copies of the stuff, the snail mail I was referring to was withdrawal via Cheque.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">Update: My withdrawal is now sitting as &quot;Processed&quot; in the cashiers section. <div class="bbWrapper">It was mailed from the US, written on a Quebec bank account, very bizarre. <br /> Anyways, 13 days is a miracle these days as I regularly wait over a month for birthday cards and the ilk from my kids grandparents... So putting that into perspective...<br /> Oh and also it was postmarked April 13th. So 7 days in the mail. I can live with that.</div>
