Is there a reason casinos hate to process to UMW?

Hiya! I recently used the $5 no deposit chip and got lucky at Silver Dollar and am in process trying to cash it out. I'm curious why they are refusing to process the withdrawal to UMW simply because I've never deposited using that method. It seems silly to ask for a $50 check to be mailed; seems like UMW would be easier. Yes wagering requirements are met, and yes I have a UMW account. Has this happened to anyone else? Thanks! :)

ok i had the same thing only i deposited in with a cc then wanted to exit with UMW , Ok the way i see it for security reason they need to open the acc with umw from them making a deposite , another example is inetbet u can there deposite a single dollar with umw

Update...

I spoke with them again, and allegedly they can do my payout via check-by-courier; and if I'm approved for it, without the $35 charge. UMW they have a money-in/money-out policy (which I'm still not sure I understand). Still seems like it'd be easier for them and me to just process it using UMW, but hey, what do I know?

info: You are now chatting with 'Angel'
info: Your Issue ID for this chat is LTK145018505419X
you: Hi, Angel
you: User ID SF0906212406
you: How are you today?
Angel: Good afternoon, this is the Payout's department.
Angel: I'm fine, thank you. How are you?
you: Cool cool
you: I'm good, thanks
you: so
you: I managed to turn the no deposit chip into $50 (the max withdraw)
you: and I have that withdrawal pending
you: I was hoping I could do UMW
you: but I received an e-mail from the cashier saying "Sorry, only UMW depositers can withdraw with taht method
you: but it seems so silly to have you guys cut a $50 check
you: when a simple UMW withdraw could be done, you know?
you: Besides, I plan to send some of it right back at the casino
you: lol, I do like this place
you: Casinomeister recommended it
Angel: Yes, I know. Unfortunately most online brokers have this money-in/money-out policy.
Angel: Basically that means that you need to have an active deposit history with them in order to withdraw via them.
Angel: So in this case you do not qualify for a UseMyWallet withdrawal.
you: So, what are my options then?
Angel: I would suggest Check by Courier.
Angel: The fee is $35.00, however maybe management might decide to waive the fee for you.
you: which means... how much of my $50 goes to fees, and how much do I actually get?
Angel: All payout's need to be approved by management in the morning, so your account will go out again tomorrow morning for approval.
Angel: If approved, you will get the full $50.00.
you: nonono
you: oh
you: even though there's a $35 fee?
Angel: If it is not approved, it will be an amount of $15.00.
Angel: So we will know that tomorrow morning.
you: Could I do a moneygram withdraw?
Angel: No, as the broker starts from amounts of $100.00 and up.
Angel: So basically you would need at least $135.00.
you: According to the website, so does the check by courier
you: 100 min
Angel: Exactly, however this particular broker can do exceptions.
Angel: The Moneygram broker doesn't.
you: I see
you: Nor does the UMW broker?
Angel: No.
you: K
you: In that case, yeah, put through for the check-by-courier option
you: but if it is not approved, and I'm only looking at $15
you: don't send it
you: We'll deal with that if that happens
Angel: Ok, I will put a memo in your account regarding that.
you: I appreciate it, Angel :)
you: THanks for your help
you: would you mind if I include this conversation in my thread at casinomeister regarding the experience?
you: I do appreciate your help
Angel: You are most welcome.
Angel: No problem at all.
you: Cool, thanks much :)

Wow, I got an e-mail this morning saying that they had processed the payment via UMW! :-D Sure enough, it's in my account! Thank you, Silver Dollar! You can expect me to continue doing business with you. :)

Well, clearly it's a case of "won't" rather than "can't" in these situations. Don't casinos realise that most players can see right through this bullshit, which is why support often have to deal with angry customers.

In this case, it looks like management decided they WOULD do as you initially requested, perhaps in anticipation of you continuing to play there. The fact that support gave the go-ahead for you to relate this experience here on the forum MAY have influenced their decision, even though forum members would have advised you to go back to the casino and ask about making a small verification deposit and then withdrawing the lot - which is what happened.
