The reason I am asking is they seem to have the same manager and considering what happened to the member mentioned in CMs webcast I would be careful about the other casinos too I sure hope not they seem to all be managed by John Wright

Rockbet is connected to Vegas Days. John worked for TIV in the past and I wouldnt touch it given the probs at Rockbet just as a precautionary measure.

Is "Rockbet/ThisIsVegas/VegasDays connected?"
In my personal opinion, YES.
Officially John is supposed to have left TiV to be the manager of the other 2, but there still seems a definite connection.
I would not be surprised in the least if Rockbet, Vegas Days and John are sharing an office with TiV, and possibly the other 400 group casinos as well...

Well, I don't know if John is connected or not, but I just received an email from Elizabeth at Rockbet and in the note she said she had unlocked my account at Vegas Days. So they must be connected.

Yes, that is correct and has never been in question.
Right from the outset Rockbet said Vegas Days was their "sister" casino.

Re the 400 group; To my Knowledge "RockbetJohn" never had anything to do with the running of the other 3, only This is Vegas.
"JSM_Jason" looks after Paradise8 and Cocoa, while DaVinci's Gold does not have a rep on this forum.

PS: Other linked Rival casinos:-
Pantasia and Mayan Fortune.
Slot Power & Vanguard.
All the others are independent operations, although many seem to have "global owners".

The "400 Group" are made up of:

Davincis Gold Casino
Paradise8 Casino
Cocoa Casino
This Is Vegas Casino

Casino brands :)

All the others are independent operations, although many seem to have "global owners".

It is looking more and more like these "global owners" are the ones pulling the strings. The individual managers, although seemingly independent, are merely "puppets" with limited authority.

Look at case history patterns.

Win at one (without meeting the "secret" WR), "bonus banned" at ALL.

Load ONE on to a new PC, ALL accounts are locked, and it is almost IMPOSSIBLE to get individual managers to see sense.

It looks like the ultimate "white label" operation, where players play AS THOUGH they are independent casinos, and THEN get into trouble for it.

If you won BIG at, say, Casino Rewards off a bonus, you may well be "bonus banned" at all Casino Rewards casinos, but you would be IN SHOCK if you found yourself "bonus banned" at "all casinos powered by Microgaming".

Take this chat from the OP

Plenty of answers from support, and correct ones too, but the QUESTION was NOT ANSWERED, instead support tried to obfuscate the original issue by talking about who did "support", and how they were "independently managed" (which merely means each one has a different figurehead).

The big "global owner" seems to be Bonne Chance, who are "the 888.com of powered by Rival", just as 888.com ultimately own and run all the Cassava skins, which AGAIN means trouble for players who THINK they are playing at a number of INDEPENDENT casinos merely "powered by Cassava".

I have noted that the phrase "Powered by Rival" is now used, rather than just "Rival", just an attempt to FURTHER obfuscate the fact that almost everything is managed centrally from this insidious "central database".

Curioser and curioser said Alice....

I cant understand the reasoning behind not wanting to be identified as part of a group....unless of course the group has a bad name which isnt really the case here.

I mean, if Casino X, Y and Z are part of ABC group then why not say so?

It comes down to my pet subject at present - transparency and trust.

If we all KNOW that X,Y and Z are all jointly owned and share information with each other (and we KNOW they do), then declining to ADMIT that they do just raises everyones eyebrows. It creates suspicion and mistrust where maybe there shouldnt be...or maybe their SHOULD be...well hell we dont KNOW because so many of these operators go to great lengths to AVOID questions about how casinos are connected.

As players, we have a RIGHT to know WHO shares the information we use when we signup for an account. If it all goes to a central database that 15 other casinos can look up at leisure, then it should be EXPRESSLY STATED upon registration. E.G. A new Rival casino opens and you register and 'bang' you dont get any signup bonuses etc because you won something at another one...but did I SAY you could check my play at other casinos?? NO. If you signup at a Casino Rewards property, you KNOW your information will be shared/checked as you KNOW which casinos are part of the group because the operators are TRANSPARENT about it from the get go. Same with Fortune Lounge.

The only Rival I know that seems to either ignore or at least re-assess each player on individual merits is SlotoCash. Ive been up and Ive been down, Ive won on bonuses and lost, but the point is that they WILL win in the long run because they have my loyalty by NOT treating me like some kind of criminal.

OK I need a vegemite sandwich now....

:D

Silverstone Overseas Limited

is (ostensibly) a UK outfit associated closely with Bonne Chance NV in the Netherlands Antilles, and one possibility is that this is some sort of 'master licensor' for Rival.

Either that, or I guess it could be a white label operator for most of the Rival-powered online casinos - it's hard to accept that it actually owns around 13 of the brands, having read conflicting reports on its role on various information websites.

These 'Silverstone' brands are widely listed (here's just two sites where this is done for example - there are many more):

It also appears that the Canadian fellows behind Rival (remember the court papers in that T2 Marketing litigation in Quebec earlier this year, which now appears to have been settled?) are sensitive about the 'official' location of the group.

I've had two approaches from emailers who appear to have only a forename :eek2: assuring me that Rival is not Canadian owned but is headquartered in Cyprus. The email headers, however, showed a Canadian origin, which kind of makes one suspicious :p

When Rival first launched there was quite a lot of foot shuffling about the role of 400 Group and other companies in the Curacao background (it's all in the archives here) so it appears that this sensitivity has been present from the get-go.

As another poster here has already remarked, that sort of suspected deception does little to engender player trust.

Rockbet and VegasDays are sister casinos. ThisisVegas is linked with 400affiliates. I am officially with Rockbet and VegasDays and I'm helping the team at ThisisVegas behind the scenes so they can run independently. I was hoping this would be a fast transition but it is taking time and I'm helping the affiliate manager there and expect to be out of the picture within 2 months. I did do the aff manager job for ThisisVegas initially before switching over to Rockbet.

John
