While playing LOTR I have been lucky and got the jackpot wheel several times.
Been left wondering is this random? After picking the right or left of the wheel several times the opposite one would land on gold , makes me think if i picked it would I have won that?
Whats the most you one on the wheel, for me over 100.00 at least 20 times.

Worth noting that when using the new MG software you can check your winnings on the front screen (balance in bottom left) immediately after pressing the 'Spin' button the wheel. Saves 30 seconds of heartache

Bizarrely, a couple of years ago it stopped on 'MAJOR' jackpot at £4m only to start up again 10 seconds later - that made me mutter somewhat

ive been quite lucky with it...only ever had it 5 times but got silver jackpot 4 of those times...

one of them paid nearly 400...

Yes it tends to 'randomly' throw me the bronze, never had any of the other jp's :(, there was once when it almost stopped on the mega jp, boy was I sweating lol, I was waiting for a phone call congratulating me:rolleyes:

Yep, got to love the gold segment where it just creeps into the next one to give the tenner.
Got silver yesterday on Lotr, first time on that for me. All the others have been bronze

Had maybe 10 spins on this, 2 silver win (both on bets over $1.50).

You would like to think its completely random but id guess the randomness of it is who and when its is triggered compared to the actual prize you get.

What you see on the wheel is absolutely NOTHING like the actual odds of hitting major or mega.

Yes when the progressive feature is triggered the game will randomly pick an award from mini to mega, but if you imagine a bag with two million balls in it, when you trigger the wheel it's like you're reaching into the bag to pick out a single ball.

1,800,000 million of the balls will be mini

199,500 of the balls will be minor

499 of the balls will be major

1 of the balls will be mega

Note I've just completely made those odds up, but it's just to illustrate that the feature trigger can be completely random but still be weighted massively towards the mini jackpot.

EDIT - To put it another way, if the wheel 'looked right' the section of the wheel that represented the mega jackpot would be so small you wouldn't be able to see it, as it wouldn't even be one pixel wide :D

And no, it makes no difference which side of the wheel you pick. I would imagine that the RNG picks an aware the second the progressive feature is triggered.
