Just had this in an email that a customer won it at a casino and with the max bet allowed it seems a very unobtainable figure, even with a full screen of wilds?

Casino promo emails often amalgamate wins over a session. So he maybe hit that over a couple of hours.

Some less than reputable ones also ONLY count the wins, and not the money spent to get them

Yes it is. A player got a 4-reel WD feature with Sarah/10/Michael on the other reel (in screenshots thread) for almost 18,000 on a 6.00 stake. Raise the stake to 12 or maximum 15 and it is well within the realms of one 'wonder hit'.

Highest stake I've ever seen is £6 didn't realise there were places that allowed the same stake as Thunderstruck 2.

Some are even higher

The 6.00 limit (tied to a 0.02 denomination) is the default and is usually rolled out with Quickfire versions (although I think some dedicated MG casinos might still have it), however casinos can request higher denominations (0.05, 0.10 etc) which obviously increases the limit and their exposure to risk. Which I'd guess is why many don't. TFROL has a 7.50 default I think while TS2 goes to 15.00 but is lower variance. Playboy is normally 37.50.

You can never rule out the possibility of hitting 5 scatters a pl times on max bet in the x5 round...added tot hat a few good 5OAKs....like maybe 1 in a billion...but possible...
