Hi Folks
Is it normal that my players log for Bj would be sent to me as an excel spreadsheet? Does anyone know the ins and outs of how the casino software generaly produces logs, Net entertainment is the software concerning my query.
Thanks

CSV is the most universal format. It can be imported into MS Works, which comes bundled with pretty much any Windows PC. Excel is business software, and although better, does not tend to be supplied with home PCs, but comes as part of MS Office, which isn't cheap!

I suspect there are conversion programmes around that can convert Excel files into other formats. It may even be possible to make sense of it with later versions of MS Works. Try opening it with the MS Works spreadsheet program.

CSV = Comma Separated Variables - the data might look like this:- (depends on how the casino structures it)

21,20,win,10.00
bust,19,lose,0.0

There is also OpenOffice, which is open source and free and will do the same sort of things as M$ Office.

Google Documents is a great substitute for excell, for viewing files.
No download at at all, just register for a google account.
