Happy new year to you all and I hope you had a jolly festive season!
I suspect my account name on here has given it away already, but my name is David. I work within the iGaming industry as a consultant currently based out in Gibraltar.
I joined CM to get involved and interact with some of the people at the heart of the industry. I won't be shameless plugging adverts for our consulting products, but I was hoping to learn from the people on here about various casino related topics.
From my side, hopefully I can give something back as well. I am relatively knowledgeable about things such as country specific regulations for gaming, social media for customer support and acquisition, game development and corporate gamification and a whole host of other seemingly unrelated topics.
In my spare time I am unabashedly a geek. I enjoy playing, designing and "reviewing" computer games, (read: rage quits, swears never to pick a controller up again...) reading epic fantasy like David Eddings, scuba diving & skiing and the occasional crack at the poker tables.
That is about it folks. I hope that wasn't too tedious and I look forward to enjoying everyone's wit and repartee in the coming months.
