Gloria: How may I help you today?
me: hi
me: i requested your $15 no deposit bonus a few days ago
Gloria: hi
Gloria: Let me check for you.
me: thank you
Gloria: please be advised that your account does not qualify for the free money becasue the site that was used to sign up this account does not give out free money, the casino has selected sites that give out the free money ,if you do not sign up through those sites your account will not be eligible for the free money.
me: ok....i signed up via casinomeister
Gloria: it is not one of the recognised affiliates
me: that's hard to believe....i'll post that info on casinomeister so others don't make my mistake
Gloria: bryan bailey , this is the affiliate that was used to create your account
Gloria: this affiliate is not recognised
me: yes....he's the casinomeister
Gloria: Let me check for you.
Gloria: l have double checked, it is not one of the recognised affiliates

Gloria: bryan bailey , this is the affiliate that was used to create your account

That's the part I find a bit shocking about the chat. No big deal in this particular case as everyone knows that Casinomeister's name is Bryan Bailey. But what if it were just some unknown affiliate? What if it were me? Or maybe Simmo? Would she have volunteered our full name as easily as she did Bryan's? Or am I misreading something here?

As to the $15 free, not that unusual. It is not advertised on their website as a general offer. And I would assume that if you saw a banner or advertisement offering a $15 free signup bonus, then you should have opened your account through that particular banner. Quite often, affiliate companies make deals with certain affiliates offering only them special incentives to obtain new signups. I haven't checked CM's banner for King Solomon's...does it offer this bonus? Not that Bryan needs any incentives for people to d/l through his links, lol.

While it's not advertised on their main promotions page, it is on this T&C page:

You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.

After seeing that, I figured why not and went through the process to test them out. now I'm just annoyed and less likely to gamble here.

Well of course they have to include the T&C's as they do offer the promo, but only on a select basis.

It's the same as Bryan was offering a n/d bonus for a casino here a week or two ago, can't remember which one. It was for new players only and only for those who downloaded from Casinomeister. You can't go and d/l from some other website and then email support hoping to claim the promo. You have to open your account from the location the promo is being offered through.

nope....not the same thing at all

i wasn't even looking for a ND bonus......i was merely reading there terms on their website and I came across their no deposit offer.

i don't consider it my birthrite to get a ND bonus, but they're the ones who offered it. This sort of business screams "rinky-dink" to me so I'll go elsewhere.

I wasn't necessarily disagreeing with you tennis_balls, just explaining the affiliate specific promo thing. I know from reading alot of forums that you aren't the only one not familiar with it. :)

I would like to hear if anyone else here finds it "odd" that Gloria gave out the name of Bryan Bailey so easily?

I sure do... not "odd" as much as "ignorant & quite unprofessional"...

I've had my name given out inappropriately by a casino representitive. (not this group)
I was NOT happy about this, as I found this very irresponsible on the reps part.

Casino Rep... :sniper:

I absolutely agree. If someone d/l from one of my links, and I later found out that support had told them well yes you d/l from Lisa xxxxxxxxxx's link, I'd be pissed off. Maybe I'm making a big deal out of nothing, but I do find it unprofessional. We use aliases on these forums for a reason, instead of our first and last names. I don't mind someone knowing my first name, but not my full name.

I am agreed.

I may give my name to my players, but a casino rep. cant able to do this.
(May be he/she wanted to say ''Yes,I know Casinomeister's owner'')

Thanks for posting this tennis balls.
I really think Pina, racetrack, and CasinoforumU, nailed it on the head.
That is totally unprofesional. Speaking of which isnt there a little tiny box right at the end of where you register that says we will keep all information disclosed. I believe Bryan can make a big deal about that.

GrandGiesha I am sorry for going Caruso on you but how totally unprofessional. Sure people are allowed mistakes, but first the funeral party incident now this. You disclosed private information(twice). That is completey unacceptable for people in the online gambling world. You guys should be rogued for stupidity.

Have a nice day.

Bryan Apologies for that .
Personally, it doesn't bother me since everyone knows who I am and that I'm connected with Casinomeister.
https://www.casinomeister.com/about-us/

But that is a unique situation; I can't think of any other occurance where it would be acceptable, unless of course a website owner is as upfront and out there as I am.

Greg has already informed me that he's stressed to the CSRs to abide to confidentiality agreements.

That was my point. I said that in this PARTICULAR case it was no big deal, but as CM stated, his situation is totally unique. It is not acceptable under any circumstances, and I truly hope that this situation will be dealt with appropriately.

Gotta say liquidsoap I agree with you 100%. When I saw funeralparty's info posted a couple of weeks ago, I was shocked. Irregardless of whether or not it was or is true, it is totally unacceptable behaviour for any casino or any casino rep to post that information publicly. It was done solely to discredit the poster and maybe even humiliate them somewhat. Whatever the motivation, it was wrong. I myself have on occasion opened my mouth and said things that should never have been said (yeah, imagine that), and there is one time in particular a few years ago where I was as guilty as they come. I told the truth, but that is irrelevant...I shouldn't have said what I said. Greg will know what I'm talking about I'm sure. I regret it to this day, and it took me a long time to live it down. My point to the story though, is that I took a lesson away from it, and I hope that I learned to never make the same mistake again. Greg, if you are going to be a representative for your casinos, and be a fixture on these forums, I think you need to learn that lesson as well. JMO, for what it's worth.

Rogued for Stupidity

Guys you are going overboard now - you really are making a mountain out of a molehill.

I spoke to Bryan in Amsterdam and explained my position to him re the Casinos.I take a neutral viewpoint with regards to the Casinos and this allowes me to tell them when they are wrong that they need to pay .Similarily when a player comes on and bitches and then reneges on payment i feel it is my duty to comment on this.I should have done it privately as i acknowledged and this issue is now closed .We are talking to Funeral and the issue will be resolved.

With regards tot he mentioning of Bryans name - well he has it on the site and as you can tell from the chat log the operator advised the person that it was Casinomeister first and then mentioned his name when the person could not believe that he was not on the affiliate promotional list .

She obviously went back to check the name and came back and gave it to the person,

Why was it so hard to believe that the Meister did not have this promotion on his site and why would this person post on the booard about it ? They were told emphatically that this was the case .Do you see any Free $15 banners on the site ?

My personal opinion is that there are some people who are looking to create issues and in my opinion they can go ahead. We are on an irreversible course and once again ,the changes are happening slowly but they are happening and when all of it is place i will be a lot happier.

Regards
Greg

Greg, a very valid explaination as to what happened and I agree with you at times a big deal is made of the smallest things.

Even if CS had slipped up here and provided a name by mistake, hey it's human error and I know I much rather deal with a human being when dealing with a problem then an automated drone that will just provide a copy and paste reply from a standard procedures manual! When this happens ppl are again very quick to complain.

Keep smiling :p it's all part of the rich culture that makes this site so interesting and fun.
