Actually, the email doesnt state any terms regarding having to wager the cash on Millionaires Club, apart from intimating it is 250 free spins.

One would assume you could play 250 spins and then go and play anything else with the winnings. I doubt very much they would be manually checking every account to see who played what given that the Ecash withdrawals are sent within a few hours these days.

I agree about the schoolboy error - my greatest error as a schoolboy was dating a schoolgirl with a policeman for a father......

it would have been even greater dating the father:)

Still seems like a decent offer though.

Is there a specific value or line bet to each of 250 spins and does the WR apply to winnings from the free spins or the value of the free spins themselves?

Imagine hitting the $1million and having a $24 million WR LOL

I dont believe IC has the ability to award actual free spins for any game, rather they seem to be offering a credit of $250 which would pay for 250 spins on Millionaire.

It is a nice offer - even better if we can wager it according to the usual match bonus rules (the email says 'normal terms apply')

and also I take it that Millionaire is a set stake of $1 a spin?

I have to say that this reminds me of other free money promotions exclusive to progressive jackpot slots, do we all remember what happened there?
On the face of it, it looks great but... Spidey senses tingling...

HEHE i will give you all the rights in the doubts.... i should soon get an answer from intercasino, i got usual email back that they would respond within 1 hour as usual.... but guess what not had any answer back on my questions in regards to the promotion, i have this promotion on my own new website :P which im proud of as affiliate, but hmmm i cant say im proud of having their casino on the website as one of the first ones, when they pull something like this off.
Seems like they dont even know them selves... i expect a big cash bonus as thank you from them!!!!
But it bet i will recieve nothing, wouldnt surprise me if they pull the promotion back as well :what:

But i will update you guys asap i get answers ;)

Hahaha school boy error.

Did the email arrive with %%FirstName%% or did it actually have your name in there? How these CRM staff don't get sacked for such cock ups I'll never know!

 Yes it came like that hehe, not even me deleting my name :D

OK.....drum roll please.....

Hello and thank you for contacting the InterCasino support team regarding the Millionaire’s Club promotional e-mail.

Please note that an e-mail regarding this offer was sent out earlier today by our Marketing Department.

I regret to inform you that the Millionaire’s Club offer you received yesterday was sent out by mistake; the promotional message was still under preparation and should not have been communicated to our players yet.

If you have a look at the promotional e-mail you will notice that your name is not displayed at the top but rather ‘%first name%’ which shows that this offer was not ready to be sent.

We sincerely apologize and hope this disappointment will not alter your trust in InterCasino.

So, it looks like we arent getting any $$$ after all......geez they should sack Bert and Ernie and get some professional marketing people on board.

As far as 'We sincerely apologize and hope this disappointment will not alter your trust in InterCasino' - its a bit late for that Mr Hartley.

I received this promo too. I was really excited. And now, i get the same email: it was a mistake, sorry, bye bye.

AND THIS IS THE THIRD TIME I CANNOT REDEEM A BONUS FROM INTERCASINO.
:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

What a joke, i will be thinking removing them from my new website, how can i be affiliate for someone who cant stick up to their own promotions.
They made this one, and sent out emails. And now suddenly there is none, and promotion has never excisted.
They should credit all the players at least that they sent this email out to.
Ive made a fool off myself by promoting this as well :sniper:

Check what i have found after investigating this.....what a load of BS, waste of my F..... time THANKS INTERCASINO :axeman2:
Would be surprising they would give out something like this, after their last big mistake of a promotion with 1$ freespins ....... :barf:

don't hold your breat..NOONE is getting free spins:

Other Chat: I regret to inform you that the Millionaire’s Club offer you received yesterday was sent out to a small amount of players by mistake; the promotional message was still under preparation and should not have been communicated to our players.

Other Chat: as it should not have existed, none of the small amount of players that was emailed will receive free spins.
NewPlayer: i see...thank you

They seem to be contradicting themselves here.
First they say, on 2 separate occasions, the promotion was sent out before it was ready,
the promotional message was still under preparation and should not have been communicated to our players yet.
and
the promotional message was still under preparation and should not have been communicated to our players.

and now in the same breath they are saying no such promotion will take place.

We apologize, there will not be any code for this promotion as it should not have existed, none of the small amount of players that was emailed will receive free spins.

Obviously there was one (why create something that should not exist?) but now there is not, only question, why?

By the way, I assume this was a high roller bonus only?

Small amount of players? Bullshit. I received this same email, so apparently they sent it to everyone that's had an account in the past 5+ years. Whether or not the account was closed or if the player resides in the USA doesn't matter at all to them.

No answer on my last emails.... got usual automatic we will answer within 1 hour.. On Intercasinos homepage its within 24 hours. And we are now soon well past 2 days!!!!!
They have sure made a fool of themselves, i must say im in shock. That they not even can give a quick answer back to me, at least a small sorry or something. Casinoworld is dying. But that is only good, will scare all new players who turn 18 or 21 years old. Its not a good hobby anyway.......hope the youth for future will save their money.

I got it too, and I have not deposited in a while.

Why though, would they have even HAD this promotional template in a "not yet ready" state if this promotion never existed. Clearly it DID exist, and a mistake was made in sending it out to the wrong players, and before it was ready. Their response is to "deny everything", and insult our intelligence by telling us this promotion never existed. Of course it existed, they decided to "pull" it during the preparation stage, but SENT it to players by mistake:D

Now we KNOW it once existed, but if they had NOT made this mistake, we would never have known, so to all intents it would NOT have existed at all, which is how they are trying to distance themselves from this.

I FREQUENTLY get emails from casinos with these unsubstituted fields, are these ALL "mistakes". If so, this is SHOCKING incompetence. I also get emails with OTHER PLAYERS' names and account numbers instead of mine.

Security of player information is a bit of a joke in this respect, mistakes that expose such information to the wrong players are common.

Is anyone like a "VIP" there that received the email? I'd almost imagine with a promotion like that (If in fact it's a fixed bet of $1 per spin) that it was meant to go to the high(er) rollers only, and not meant for peons' eyes.

So, once the cat got outta the bag, so to speak, they did as much damage control as possible and said that the promotion didn't exist (lol.)

Even bigger joke is, that i have waited 4 DAYS!!!!! on a answer from support. I sent to both support and Ryan. Got the within 1 hour auto. But nothing since.....:what:

Take it from me - the offer does exist and was sent to high rollers, someone obiously dropped a very big bollock somewhere!

Did it WORK though? Surely the high rollers got it with the wrong code as well.

If this promotion DID exist, it is NOT GOOD that the casino LIED to players about this promotion not even existing - not even a particularly believable lie either, given that few believe they would waste time preparing a template for something that was never intended to exist in the first place.

Lying to players is bad business practice, but GETTING FOUND OUT with hard proof is even worse since it destroys the bond of trust that has been built up between players and the brand.

The "hard proof" in this case would come from a player who DID get this promotion, and got it to WORK, even though the "company line" is that this promotion was a mistake, and "no-one will get the free spins".

If they have any sense, they will cover this up by scrapping this promotion for EVERYONE to avoid any damaging evidence from appearing, wait a while, and then design a similar promotion for their top flight players, and then send it out PROPERLY.

Did it WORK though? Surely the high rollers got it with the wrong code as well.

If I was a betting man (lol,) I'd bet that the code did work, at least for those accounts that were authorized to receive the promotion in the first place.

What they did is the same as sending an email to a co-worker saying "Hey, did you notice the awesome rack on our new boss??? Wouldn't you love to motorboat her?" But instead of sending it to just that one person, you end up sending it to the whole company.

Oops.

You get different error messages for when a code just does not exist, and where it is not available on a particular account.

The code was the same as a new player code, so therefore WAS wrong in that it didn't work for this promotion, but WOULD have worked for a new player, except that it would have given them the new player bonus, and not a free 250.

Yes VWM the code worked, a different email was sent out with the correct first name on too. They obviously sent it too early without creating their filters on the mailout

Using %%FirstName%% is probably their copywriters terminology and wasn't changed.

In other words, a very big cock up from Inter and it looks like they've done nothing to compensate for it. I wouldn't play there anyway, RTP on some of their games is an absolute joke. I read somewhere they only have about $17mill in netcash left...not much for an operator/developer that's struggling. Expect to see them bought out sooner or later

Actually, %%FirstName%% is used in Microsoft Word and other various templates when you're merging data in from other sources such as a database..

Thanks Rhyzz

Did you mean they sent out a different code and you tried it and got the $250??

I would be interested as support told me that if I was sent the original email, then when it is ready and sent properly I will be included in the promotion...so Im gonna raise some hell if they have lied.

It is clear that they HAVE lied to players who got this email, but were not eligible. It seems support are not replying to players who have queried this, but are not eligible. Live chat is saying the promotion simply does not exist.
If this were all "above board", I would expect CS to behave normally, and reply to these players that the email was a mistake, apologise, and say that there was never such a promotion. It seems they don't want this "on the record", so are ONLY replying to players on their eligible list, and giving them the correct code.

Since this promotion does not exist according to support, there would be no harm in posting the "correct code", would there:rolleyes:

Hmmm....well they have been replying to me quite speedily, and yet no new code or email....I think the least they could have done it give 25 spins or something to those who were sent the email (and were in good standing etc)...it would cost less than the bad PR they generated in the first place.

I wonder if it is worth getting Bryan or Max involved or a PAB maybe? After all, if it was a mistake there should have been a mass mailing to all those affected with an apology - and this has not been done. It is pretty clueless to make the bungle in the first place, but the mark of a good operator is how professionally they handle situations that go tits up. IMO it has been handled poorly thus far.

If you read the OP then you'll see it says 'using bonus code .'

Space before the fullstop is classic 'Whoops, forgot to add the populated field' syndrome.

The code was the same as mentioned before, IC250, so whether they just have a generic system in place and the bonuses are assigned to usernames rather than codes, I don't know.

Just a big c*ck up on their part me thinks

The thing is, the players that received this email have no way of proving that it was meant for their eyes in the first place. On the other hand, if it was addressed to each player individually instead of having %%FirstName%% (or even listing the account #) in the email, then you might have a chance of winning a PAB.

I received e-mails from Intercasino addressing me as %%FirstName%% in the past, but today I got something different: an e-mail in Japanese. Unfortunately, I cannot work out if it is addressed to me personally and if it offers me some fabulous and irresistible bonus. There seems to be something very messed up with Intercasino's marketing e-mails.

Received the same email for 250 free spins weeks ago, Today I received chinese text email from them! Iam not a chinese and Iam sure they know it After replying and asking what's wrong with their marketing dep. and strange emails I received the following email;

Thank you for contacting the InterCasino support team.

On behalf of our Marketing department, I can only apologise for the errors with our e mail offers recently.*

Your feed back has been duly forwarded to the department concerned.*

Kind regards,
