What is iGGBA?
iGGBA stands for the Interactive Gambling, Gaming and Betting Association and is the Trade Association for these businesses based in Great Britain.
iGGBA members are drawn from all sections of the UK Gambling and Gaming industries and may include owners of family amusement centres, gaming machine suppliers,
Licensed Gaming centre operators, Licensed Betting Office operators, Casino operators, Cash Bingo operators and manufacturers and distributors of a wide variety of games suitable for distribution via interactive channels.
Aims of the Association
The aims of iGGBA are to provide reassurance to playing customers of the probity and trustworthiness of its members, all of whom are based in the UK, and also to represent the trade, particularly in the formulation and maintenance of formal regulation in the UK. iGGBA will also provide its members with advice on compliance and software homologation, if necessary acting as representative in the first instance with the Gambling Commission.
Arbitration
iGGBA will provide a disputes arbitration service for its members and their playing customers. Should a dispute arise between a player and an iGGBA member then the association will convene a formal hearing to consider both sides and will make a decision binding on both parties in relation to the dispute.
