Hey, Guys! Several years ago I played at 3Dice Casino on a regular basis and was very happy with my winnings at that time.
Then 3Dice changed its deposit methods to exclude US Credit Cards, and switched to cumbersome Crypto deposit method(s)- -in my opinion.
Please let me know what methods of deposits 3Dice is accepting at this time.
Like they say, If you can't beat them - -Join them!
(I suppose you can teach Old Dog like me NEW Tricks! Thank you.

I use crypto, Coinbase specifically, but really you want to get a wallet as well as Coinbase don't like direct gambling transactions.

Coinbase has been fine for me but the fees can get a little bit onerous, so you need to factor that in, for me it's not really worth depositing less than £100, unless it's on a bonus.

I have to be honest I'm not too familiar with the wallet side of things, but the idea is that it sits between Coinbase and the casino, so Coinbase don't see the gambling transactions.

Also the registration process for Coinbase is pretty long-winded, but it all worked OK for me.

Not sure about the USA but deposit options for the UK are very limited. BCH / BC and Flexipin vouchers. Its the only downside to an otherwise excellent casino. I would have played much more if it were not for limited deposit options. But it is what it is I suppose. Managed to get a flexipin voucher through last week but its sometimes hit and miss for some reason - not on 3Dices side but in actually buying the voucher.

You are in USA so its a bit limited.

Might be that Crypto is your only choice now.

You can buy Bitcoin or Bitcoin Cash at Coinbase (.com) and then transfer it to a Crypto Wallet (there are many) and then to the casino.
Its a bit tricky at first.

There are a few other USA players in here that might help you more.

@pokerdan ?

Ist crypto more or less the only option for all players at 3 dice now not just from US ?
Ii sure miss them
Best relible crypto wallet anyone ? 🙂

I struggle with depsoits there, they would be 1 of my top 2 places to play if the oprions were friendlier, the costs for me are extremely high as well.

Luno's a decent wallet to use - simple interface and no frills but that's what i like about it (compared to some of the exchanges that you need an IQ of 170 to work out how to use)

Word of warning: think they automatically disable sending Crypto when you register so you need to enable and wait X days/weeks (can't remember) IIRC to then start....

Be super careful with luno, once they block your account you shall be in real trouble getting the funds back, be warned.

I use Luno and so far no problems but only small amounts running through that account. What have you heard about Luno and account closures ? there was an issue I had a while back on verifying my account but that for me was resolved within a few days. Very easy / quick interface and the only online crypto wallet I use now. Coinbase did catch onto to my gaming transactions but autumatically transferred my remaining balance in the end/ I long for the days when you just punch in a card number and deposit but no chance with 3dice these days.

Whatever you do - DON'T use Blockchain.com - they allowed thieves to steal my Bitcoin... twice!
I would also not recommend Coinbase, due to their anti-gambling stance.

Loathe to actually recommend any wallets, but I have been using Kraken & Crypto.com for many years with no hassles (touch wood!)
But of course, there are dozens of others that I have never tried.

KK

There's also Uphold, but their fee's are quite high IIRC - makes it a bit pointless depositing less than 100 quid

Bit of a sad state of affairs when, to get the gambling kicks you have to hope the casino isn't dodgy and, even if they are not, hope where you receive the BTC etc isn't closing a/c's etc.

But it could be worse - you could be playing at Videoslots

Most have ' restricted activity' including gambling transactions - including Luno, so i guess they could do a Coinbase.

How do they know/find out it's gambling related anyhow-seems a bit contrary to the 'Anon' reason for many of their existence

Yes I thought this too, like, the whole point of crypto is you can buy hitmen and drugs and Chinese hackers and things without being traced, but then they're like, GAMBLING IS IT EH? ACCOUNT CLOSED.

Worst currency ever.

I dunno I don't find Crypto cumbersome at all really. After dealing with several even well vetted casinos on here and having credit card processor issues over the years. I would rather expose my card to Crypto exchange long before I deal with some of the even shadier credit card processors folks use to get our USA transactions to go through.
At least with Crypto.com, Coinbase, and Bitpays coin provider. The transactions are processed right here in the US versus being processed in China, Singapore or where ever the shady processors location is.
After quitting using my card directly low and behold 2 years later I have yet to have my credit card details stolen especially like I did back in the day.
My personal favorite is Crypto.com myself, yet using Bitpay provider isn't bad on a day when Crypto.com is acting sort of funny.

When they started to drag it into the AML Directives....but yes, it's very odd. Especially then you put BTC and KYC in the same sentence - what's the point
+1. Exactly. And yet, there are plenty of players who argue that KYC "protects" players, lol. And that casinos which are lax on KYC are casinos which should be avoided. Um, since BTC is the only deposit method available to most players (globally), these do-gooders are arguing that most players should avoid playing. Um, I know I shouldn't be gambling, but I enjoy it, so no thanks, but nice try.

Coinbase traces up to 6 sends. They will close your account 100% and it’s just a matter of time. it’s not an “if”. Their terms explicitly state that you cannot use their services for gambling. it’s the same with Cashapp. Both shut my accounts for sending to casinos even with a wallet.

so… I would be very careful with that. I thought the same thing as everyone else until it happened to me. why use CB to begin with? they are a terrible company and offer zero support.

Be safe and get an actual wallet. Don’t use a brokerage for anything except what it’s meant to be used for. This sounds like the same stuff all the people were doing with VPN’s to play outside of the U.S.

You are already gambling…. No need to gamble with the safety of your money.

Just my two cents. Also, CB can keep your funds if you violate their terms.

Better safe than sorry. A wallet adds extra security for you and the casinos.
Please do not do this!

Well I might need to do something else anyway. As I mentioned elsewhere HSBC decided to just block their debit cards from buying at Coinbase, so I switched to using my HSBC credit card. However, HSBC decided that was a 'cash withdrawal', charged me a cash withdrawal fee for the privilege and now Clearscore have flagged it up as negative behaviour on my credit report. It hasn't impacted my credit score (yet) but clearly it's not something I want to carry on doing.

Gah, such a pain in the arse to spend your own money to have a bit of a gamble.

The stupid thing is I can walk down the road to the pub and play £500 jackpot random machines on £2 per play with as much money as I care to throw at them.

Fuck you!

Keep in mind the CRAs "score" does not actually mean anything its just like an internal scoring system - each CRA doing things differently. What creditors look at is overall behavior. Any defaults - dreaded CCJs (had some in my foolish youth) - and repayment history. Cash withdraws on a credit card wont really impact you at all if its just a few, It could potentially be seen as a red flag if applying for credit if a person is hitting the withdraw button regularly on credit cards.

Yes what you're saying there Deeplay totally makes sense, my credit score was still the same (1000/1000) but I don't like having negative indicators on there (even though I have no intention of applying for any credit facilities).

I would like to be able to keep playing at 3Dice so today I went down the Revolut rabbit-hole, it was a lot of hoops to jump through but it all worked reasonably well, so what I now have is a Revolut account which I can load funds into with my day-to-day HSBC bank account, and then using a virtual Revolut Visa card, I can purchase crypto at Coinbase, and with that I can deposit into 3Dice. Who said any of this stuff had to be easy eh?......

There has been a lot of authentication and identity verification and taking selfiies yada yada we all know the drill, but I do now appear to have a pipeline whereby I can get funds to 3Dice without HSBC deciding I'm making EVIL CASH WITHDRAWALS on a credit card (and charging me handsomely in the process) whilst Clearscore also start telling me off.

Basically all I'm after doing here is placing a layer of abstraction between my main bank account, crypto, and 3Dice, and this looks like it should work.

Admittedly I haven't addressed the Coinbase/gambling issue with this new arrangement, that will be a task for another day.....

A long route around the block ;-) I have a revoult account/ card but really can not be bothered linking it all up. Clearscore are pretty well known for the shock n awe emails they send out - most of it is clickbait to tempt to login and then or you to search for the latest "interest free balance transfer card" but its a mad situation where as adults we can not spend our own money in the way we want to.

I have a krakken account and was gonna get a private wallet to transfer to then send onwards to 3dice but .. Krakken have said 72 hour pending period for new accounts and lo n behold to lift that please send us your financial history from the last 3 decades. Needless to say I didnt even respond.

Im still trucking along with Luno but its kind of hit n miss with them at times plus the fees they charge are creeping up. Its a simple enough system but I await the dreaded SOW that they seem to be asking more people for now. Oh for an easy life where I could just bank wire funds into my 3dice account and the same on the rare times I withdraw but such things are but a dream these days. Coinbase might not get you - even though they usually do in the end.
