This really does annoy me.

Received in snail mail today a 'Top Secret' invite, with a 'Digital Access Card' inviting me to crack the code and claim a reward.

It was addressed to me, with my casino id.

All very fancy and unusual so I thought I would claim it due to its ingenuity.

Wrong! Entered my casino ID and the deciphered code and I get...

Sorry. Unfortunately you are ineligible to claim this bonus.

Why does the casino go to all this trouble if they are not going to honour the promotions they send out?

Grrrrr.

Yes, I play VPL and got the same last week, and got? You guessed it. The same.

double grrrrrr!! then... :D

Perhaps it has something to do with UK players?

So, how does one "accidentally" post loads of letters to the UK knowing that no recipient can claim the offer.

It just shows how inept they are, undeserving of your custom.

You could always report the mailing as a scam, as it makes no sense that it was genuinely sent by them as a true personal invite, but is a third party mailing intended to deceive the recipient into believing they have been allocated a "prize" when in fact they haven't.

The code is probably the same for everyone, not personal. If your casino ID is quoted (as an existing player, naturally), they can't claim it's for new players only.

If they have too many players, pissing some off by sending them a mailer (bait), and then pulling this stunt (switch), is a great way to get rid of some.

How do we succesfully piss off our players.

If they did that to me, it would be the last place on earth where I would deposit.
Uninstall. Bye.
