Just noticed this on the Bet365 site Customers from Canada must wager their deposit/transfer and bonus 100 times prior to making a withdrawal. Is this the norm or are these lads going a few over the Vig

Sounds like they don't want you as customers if you ask me. 100x bonus and deposit is them saying its OK to donate money to them, but go somewhere else if you want a chance of winning.

Having read the terms of withdrawal for other nationals its either that or they just hate Canadians

The more I think about what you said the more it makes sense vis a vis Canadian
customers. I know for a fact that the BC Gaming Policy Enforcement Branch,along with Quebec and Ontario are desperately seeking[by legislation] to restrict any outside entities from accessing a lucrative market
Having their own cosy [non competetive] online gaming set up it would seem they are trying to monopolise this industry by exerting pressure on these companies by forcing them to be prohibitive in any reward schemes as opposed to theirs!
