Wet Leg and English Teacher kicking off Glasto
🙂
I feel like a proud dad watching even though none of my kids are in a band!
I am going to enjoy this but the IOW festival has a better line up.
Sit Down Next To Me

Attended the Prog for Peart festival yesterday, which was setup five years ago to raise money for the fight against Brain Cancer, in memory of the Rush drummer, Neil Peart.

Anyhow, another band bucket list ticked as got to see the superb Sylvan, who made the trip to Oxfordshire from Hamburg in Germany,

I believe that you intended to include the word "money" in your discription mate?
I trust it all went very well.

Did you find any gems at Glasto?
Only ever been the once, despite it being literally 45 mins away from where I live. Went back in 97, when Radiohead headlined on the Friday night, with The Prodigy headlining on the Saturday.

Far too expensive now, plus a lottery to get tickets and the line up can be meh. Plus far too many people add to the fact, lots of reports of tents being entered and kit and valuables stolen, not really my bag now.

Can you tell I am now the wrong side of 50? :D

What can I say, I'm basically still stuck in the 80s!

Written in the 1930's and called the suicide song because so many people topped themselves to it. For me an 80's classic from a singer who had a brilliant voice. Ironically he commited suicide himself. Billy Mcenzie.
