I'm currently listening to...

Was strange bliss at the gym today - it was 10.20, and just me and Goomba Jack Grealish at the gym for a while, and it almost felt like my very own personal workout space...

Of course that ended around 20 minutes later, as people started trickling in. Also unique in that 'Sunday way' as the weekend staff put on the likes of Bobby Brown and CeCe Peniston, and the nostalgia flowed.

.....for about 30 seconds. And on went the headphones

Really would love to experience one of those head-banging concerts, but I just don't have the hair.

Hair is optional. I gave up on that one about a decade ago.

But getting drunk is mandatory, drink enough and the headbanging comes spontaneously due to gravity.

Tickets bought, and like Suffer, I hate to have to buy these a year in advance. Or in case of Metallica about 18 months before the concert. But a Metallica show is more like a family reunion these days (or a good reason to go out drinking with friends).

Here's Architects, one of the openers for Metallica next summer. Looking forward to seeing them live for the first time.

Christmas songs you say?

My favorite holiday of the year. Happy birthday Jesus, see you in church!

There are levels and I applaud you @ternur for taking my post and raising it too high out of reach ? ? ?

Always associate that Enya track with the 90s, surprised it was actually a number 1 in 1988, you couldn't miss 'top of the pops' back then even if you tried, and most tracks of the era I can reliably time date [to the correct decade at least!] It's not always bad to be wrong though.

Below should probably be the btg/bonanza theme tune :p

Oh no, I just finished binging Six feet under and now there's no more, so it's a sad day for me ? That's one of the best series I've ever watched (20 years later for the first time) and now I don't want any other.

This is the music from the ending scene

Man, you should've said something about going to Ichibancon this year Goatwack. I could've joined you for a beer or two after all the exhibitions and related happenings. Oh well, there's always the next con!

Great costume as always my friend, you've truly mastered your cosplay game recently

Surely the most prolific pop band of all time...?

Making music for 55 years... and still going
Studio albums: 26 (Including FFS collaboration with Franz Ferdinand (which is GREAT by the way!))
Compilation albums: 12
Singles released: 76
Number ones: ZERO  (But got to number 2 with This Town Ain't Big Enough...)
Glastonbury appearances: 2

Weird, quirky and wonderful - I will NEVER get bored of listening to them

Just one of their great tracks for you - turn your volume up to 11 and listen to this!

I did get up to 2 on the volume, but 15 seconds in, the paint started peeling off the walls, and parakeets began smashing into my windows. I did try though ?‍♂️

LOL

Try this one then - should keep the birds away (well, the feathered sort anyway). Never a single or an official video released, but I just found this awesome interpretation by some random guy on You chewb...
It's all about relationships, Beer and Boobs - so it should be right up your street!

I guess we need some chill music before Webzcas starts his submission to the thread. We're all aware that those songs are gonna be on the harder side of the musical spectrum.

So here's Darko US and their uplifting song about the future of humanity. It's a mellow song with a video full of sunshine and rainbows.

A fair warning though. Some people who use Apple based products to view the video have reported a different experience and say that the video is something completely different. I guess Apple just distorts the world as we see it!
