The long wait is over! Heeeeeerrreeeee's Ghost!

While waiting for the Ghost's new album release party to commence, I stumbled upon this band from Japan (I think?). They seem to mix metal and other genres in their music. Quite interesting imo.

Well, the long wait is over, and Impera's officially out today!

In tribute to Ternur's obsession with them I ordered myself the cassette, mainly as a collectible curio. I really dig it when modern bands release music on this format, and there's been a recent trend in artists doing so!

So whilst that remains sealed indefinitely, I can now browse Impera digitally without fear of arrest on grounds of piracy....although one wonders if not (yet) having physical ownership of the album amounts to theft. Am I breaking the law? Is it theft? Who cares!

I totally agree. First the vinyl came back, now cassettes --- and soon 8-track tapes

Was expecting Ghost to go more heavier and darker. Will have to listen to the new album a few times to get a hang of it. There are some really surprising choices by Mr. Forge in this album.

Absolutely - was a sense of hope and not just because the UK was on the verge of electing the Anti-Christ in '97

I only really remember the 90's and then maybe 00-03 but, whether it's because of the age you are/were in a period; always feels like it's the time of more vibrancy. And foam party's were still a thing. And throwing your cigarettes on the floor of a club.

Heard from reliable sources they still made music after 2003 but still 50:50.

Now we're stuck with Ternurs boybands with guitars (sort of like MG's Girls with Guns slot but less violent and evil)
