Nice one, cheers Simmo! I'm not sure when or where this time round - but it looks like I'll be down that scary London Village place all that week, so fingers crossed I'll be able to do a lot of it. I'll let you know the plan in a few days.

My first time 2 years ago was great! Just turn up, relax & go with the flow!

There are loads of hotels in London - it just depends how much you want to pay. I booked mine for CAP (end of the same week) for under 100/night. Look for a budget booking site on the web - there's loads! I haven't booked mine for ICEi yet - but gonna try to get one near the Meister's party venue.

To be honest, one day at the exhibition is enough for me; you wont miss much skipping any of the days - it just depends how much talking you want to do & how much beer you can drink before you fall over...

Hotel? Who needs a hotel when you can check your baggage in at Paddington Station. They even have showers there too.

Can we arrange a meet point for members do you think...I have only just joined the forum but been looking for a while. It would be great to meet and chat to a few of the expert posters on here.

Stellios's EASY hotel is cheap and close by .....if you can stand the orange walls.

You wont miss much on the last day...except the usual power switched off at 4pm sharp and everyone moaning cos the free drinks are over....plenty to see there and I would totally recommend it to any first timers.

If you want to stay near the exhibition, I stayed at Base2Stay which is a 3 minute walk and very nice (small rooms but very modern and the best showers ever!). The parties & meals etc are in central London so I'm staying at The Leonard which is a 20 minute tube.

Oh and when you Link Removed ( Old/Invalid) , register for ATE too (both free). Well worth a look round and also gives access to the other bars!
