I opened up an account at Just Bet sportsbook about a week ago, haven't made a deposit or anything. This guy calls me up telling me he's the guy I need to talk to and stuff like that, let me know if I need help, he's my guy, ect. All this was about a week ago.

Another message on my phone today, telling me basically the same thing, however, in the middle of the message he goes into, " Anyway, just let me know what you need, I don't know why I have to keep calling you, call me up so I don't have to waste your time and mine".

I was a little offended, I would of probably deposited there eventually had he not come off like that. What about ya'll? Would that have rubbed anybody the wrong way? Just venting and thx for the opinions.

No i wouldnt be offended due to the fact that it doesnt surprise me they would be calling to work me. Now If i didnt want the calls, which i probably would not, I would have stopped them from calling back again the first time they called.

People that leave me message like that usually get a call back with a very informational conversation, if you get my drift.

It is my right to answer the dang phone if I want to or not.

Call back and tell the manager why you are ticked and see what happens. Then you will for sure know if you want to mess with them or not.

Interesting. What I have noticed was that this strategy is usually used by companies whose offices are in Israel. My most recent example is trying to get a demo from a company that tracks your visitor behavior and records their mouse movement. Within a day I've got a call where they wanted to setup a webinar with me so they could explain to me how the whole thing worked, that the demo was very limited and if I wanted to get a good idea of their software I would have to sign up for their basic package which is 100$ a month.

Don't know about the rest, but such business model, where you literally pressure your clients to make a sale from day 1 isn't received well at least from my side. Ignored all of their calls and emails and went with another company which offered a trail period plus a much better price.

Bottom line you have every right to be offended. It's your time and you decide when you are comfortable depositing and playing.

Answer the phone like I do, I do this everytime I get the same number calling 7 times a day.

This is what I say, Federal Agent Hofsdal (ramble off a few numbers) and then I hear them hang up. Works every time. I no longer get calls from that Christopher D'Idiot from Virtual Crap hole. Try that it just might work.

I would never deposit a penny in any casino that dares to call me on the phone.
Unless they have my permission ofcourse, in case of verification etc.

Calling people to entice them to deposit is unethical businesspractise imo.
Imagine every casino doing that.. I would need to hire personell to answer all those calls.

At first is sounded nice that you had such personalized service and a got to guy with the site you signed up for. But repeatedly calling you and being rude about you not returning the call is completely ridiculous! I wouldn't want to deposit with a site that pestered me into doing so like that.

Noone calls me. Not even D'angelo:(
It would be a nice way try to learn more english for free;)

I did get one phonecall once that could have been from a casino, but that guy talked french with me so it wasn't that funny:eek2:

I disagree, I think French sounds hilarious. :p

Thank you for your support and understanding:p
Can you call me please? Any language will be fine:D

Are you sure? Esperanto is something I've been working on. :p

I do get the OP's point though. Who wants to be called by a jerk?!

Yea, Just Bet is a sponsor on the RX Forum. That's how I heard about them, tho I never used em. (derail) It's my fault I know, but now I'm having trouble with a Book I've used a million times that's promoted on the Rx. I'm not gonna say any names tho- 5Dimes!!

So true! Sorry for derailing your thread with garbage ksb:)

If a casino would call me in my language, it would be great one time, so I can ask questions.
To try and make me deposit...no way, and I can be really rude:mad:

I'ma take a wild guess on this and say that you are getting ready to spam.

Why are you bumping all of these old threads?

I'd certainly feel uncomfortable depositing with someone who feels the need to phone me so often in such a short amount of time.

I'd feel like I was being pressurised into depositing.I'd phone back and say "well, actually you don't HAVE to keep phoning me badgering me to deposit".

Just FYI

The thread is nearly a year old. It was bumped by some potential spammer who can't spell
