D'oh! Why did you tell them???
When they first started imposing this rule I contacted CS and said, 'do you really want me to make a 50 deposit 31 times in a month, and several withdrawals too? - doesn't that cost you in fees?'
To which they replied 'Yes' (to the first part)
This is fricking stupid beyond belief!
But I went ahead & tried the sportsbook thing anyway, and it worked for me
Guess that's the end of that then - mind you, those crackers have been total shite! I think I've had 2 x 5 and 4-5 free entries into a draw to win a Caribbean holiday.
Total bollocks compared to last month.
Baaaa humbug!
I was rather forced into telling them, as for just this one day they refused the cracker, but I got one again today, and, you've guessed it, this was play before I found out that they didn't count transfers. They have this rule, but it is not CLEARLY stated in the terms, it makes no mention of how the deposit is to be made to consider it one, other sportsbooks often have a clause of the form "a transfer from <poker, bingo, sports, etc> is not considered as a deposit into the <casino, poker room, etc> for the purposes of this promotion".
It certainly IS "crackers", as it makes no difference whatsoever to "playthrough" whether I use the 50 from the sportsbook, or withdraw the 50 back to my Neteller from the sportsbook and deposit 50 straight into the casino the following day. The ONLY way this could make sense would be if you were supposed to LOSE each day's 50 by playing till it's gone to show "spirit" as in "in the spirit of the promotion".
This might explain why some of the other posters have not received crackers they had thought due, it seems the system's compliance with this rule is rather hit & miss, and more miss than hit, it seems.
Despite this, they STILL sent me a cracker today, so I am wondering if Saturday is some kind of "audit day" where they check in depth for transfers rather than deposits, hence no Sunday cracker each week, but let it pass for the other 6 days.
As KK said though, these crackers are pretty "crap" compared with all the hype posted about their scratchcards.
It has cost me some 400+ net to play these crackers and scratchcards, so I am certainly NOT making a profit from it, but am playing in the "spirit" that I might find one of the big but rare worthwhile prizes other than the 5 chips, 10 chips, and free entry to the draw. I HAVE at least won a "Hotel Chocolat" cracker, which I will tease my youngest niece with over Christmas dinner
EDIT - WHY is is ALWAYS so sodding difficult to connect to Ladbrokes casino - even at nearly MIDNIGHT
(Yes, I know it's MG, and this is very common, but it usually happens during peak times in the morning - at ladbrokes, it's damn near all the time)
