I like scratching...

Scratching ...... My head that is. As I didnt receive any card after playing thru the required wagering, I sent them an e-mail and promptly got the card (well 15 bucks). Then I got another one several hours later. Dunno why. Not that it mattered though as it was a fat 0.

There is an option to make yourself contactable in the lobby. I used this since I haven't played for a while, and the cards are coming OK. Perhaps they drop players from the mailing lists after a period of inaction, and in this case the scratchcards wont come.

Don't think this is the problem as I got the cards a couple of days ago, just not yesterday. I'm sure I wagered enough though (I'm quite meticulous in my records). Sent an email. Don't really expect to get one now though as, in my experience, Laddies are SO slow at replying. Wonder if I'll get one today for yesterday's wagering now........

Did you send your e-mail to care@ladbrokescasino.com. I havent received replies from them recently so I tried promotions@ladbrokescasino.com. They duly repklied after a couple of hours. You can try that.

I decided, after all the hype, to give ladbrokes a try.

The welcome offer was 100% up to GBP100, so I deposited and lost the lot (didnt even get to wager it 4 times). So, I submitted the form to claim it via the website, and now over 24 hours later Im still waiting for the bonus. In fact, Im still waiting for any acknowledgement at all that the claim was received. It doesnt state that if you bust out you dont get the bonus (wouldnt make much sense if that was the case), so I dont know what the hold-up is. The website says within 48 hours so I will give it another day, but I just dont see why it takes that long to credit a bonus

I did contact care@ladbrokescasino.com , and my email was read about 15 mins after I sent it - and 6 hours later still had no reply. I then re-sent it to the same addy asking what the delay was all about, and had a reply within 15 mins. The only thing I can deduce from this is that they only answer emails when they feel like it, as they were both read within 15 mins but only one was answered immediately. The

My first impression is not good at all. Customer service is number one priority for me and this outfit doesnt make the grade IMO.

Nifty,

I am really scratching my head. Several months ago, I tried them out and e-mails were always answered within an hour. They were patient in trying to help solve reg problems. I deposited, won a bit and withdrew with no problems. Several weeks later, they told me that I hadnt claimed my bonus and once I did they would credit my account. Without a further deposit, they did credit my account which needed a 4x wagering to cashout.

Recently, the support has been poor and I didnt have any replies from care@ladbrokescasino.com after several e-mails. Then I wrote to the promotions team and presto, everything was solved. This is strange since the support staff should be answering all mails directed to the care@ e-mail box which is their main inbox but this did not happen. I just hope they are experiencing some changes which led to this otherwise it will be a disappointment as I did feel that this casino was excellent in the customer support department.

Hope all goes well for you.

Thanks for that. I mailed the promo address and it was read two minutes later. It'll be interesting to see when I get a response. I got no response from the 'care' address.

EDIT : today's card was for 5. And still no feature after 412 spins. Does this slot even have a feature? KK seems to be taking them all!

That's todays wagering done and I've now managed 500 spins without a feature and a payout rate of 58%. Also, my cards have been :

0 x 2
5 x 2
10 x 1

I would have been much better off leaving this promotion alone.....

EDIT : also meant to say, that 48 hours since my first email was read at Laddies and still no response. I would expect more from an accredited casino. Perhaps they need to sort out their CS department.

It has been more than 24 hours since I sent a flurry of e-mails to both addresses and there have not been any replies nor scratchcards (I played and deposited on both Tuesday and Wednesday). Did anyone else experience this?

Well, I finally received an e-mail from ladbrokes and it states that the promotion team will give me a reply on my query within 24 hours.

Nifty, did you receive any reply yet?

Yes I did receive a reply, and here it is:

Thank you for your e-mail.

To be eligible for the free stake offer, your initial chip purchase
must be between 5 and 100 and you must have wagered (staked) at least
4 times the initial chip purchase amount. Your initial chip purchase was
50 so you wold need to wager 200 at this time yo have only wagered
106.25.

If we can be of any further assistance, please contact us again and we
will be more than happy to help you.

So, it seems if you bust out BEFORE you make the wagering then you DONT get the bonus - this is the most stupid thing Ive heard for quite a while. I would have thought that it would be to the casino's advantage to apply the bonus to an empty account, rather than one that had funds in it already to help meet the wagering to cashout.

What a bunch of cr*p. I know its only $50, but it is the principle of it and it just doesnt make sense.

Am I being unreasonable here? (im a bit annoyed so its possible I suppose)

PS chek the speelling - its reely furst clarse

There is no rule that says that cannot get the bonus if you bust out before meeting the WR. You can deposit more and continue playing.

For those who have played, is there anything that states wagering has to be completed within one day. As I am playing in a pseudo currency (USD but at a conversion rate of HKD10=USD1) instead of the normal 7.8) no playcheck facility was available and I was told that I played a total of $67 in 2 days. I was also told that as I played on 2 separate days I was not eligible for the scratchcard.

I'm sorry so many are not having a good time with this promo - I feel almost guilty for starting the thread now. :(

That really does suck.
I'm on holiday at the moment & don't have all my stats to hand, but in this week I have played 6-days, 644 spins & hit the feature just twice (both crap).
I have lost 103 playing the slot, but had 180 in scratchcard winnings.

But that is the nature of these promos; when they did the Doctor+Doctor one I got totally murdered on the slot, got crap cards & lost a fortune.

Last month on the Osbournes the start was awful & I had deposited & lost nearly 200 before my luck turned on the slot & the cards & I finished the month 1000 up!

I have had similar problem with their CS at times - sometimes they are really quick & others they take forever.

Frankly, yes I do think you are being unreasonable.
Ladbrokes SUB is the best one I know of on the entire internet; Where else can you get 100% to 100 with a WR of only Bx8 and with nearly all games allowed at 100%?
If I could get one of those every day I'd never have to work again!

I am sorry you feel that way & got off to an unlucky start. :(

Actually it's not terribly clear, but I know the rules they apply are that each day's play is from midnight to midnight UK time. So wherever you are on the globe you need to take that into account.

Last day today - hope everyone gets a nice card tomorrow!

KK,

You started the thread out of goodwill. However, I am surprised at their lousy customer service. I am also certain that I was unable to check my wagering on Playcheck then but its OK now. Well, I think I lost about $30 only playing the games low-rolling but when i made a last ditch effort just now I got retriggers at only my 25th spin and sort of broke even. I aint aiming for a scratchcard now as I am afraid you had all the luck and I will get $0.

Hope all goes well for Nifty though.

My thoughts exactly. KK, you have no reason to feel guilty or anything like that. I still haven't received an email from CS in three days now. Just sent another, and got a 'message read' notification about two minutes later.

Laddies, what on earth is going on?!?! :what:

PS, did anyone else get their card today, because I didn't again......

The only palusible explanation is that they lost quite a lot on this promo. They have been either unresponsive and vague lately in order to put a halt or maybe even recoup some of its losses. As a leading sportsbook, I am really disappointed with Laddies.

Thanks for the input KK - I do value your opinion and I agree that the wagering requirement is excellent in comparison to most SUB. I guess the part that bothers me is that the reason (I assume) that 4xD is required before the bonus is to make players risk their own funds first to show they arent just abusing the promo - which I did and lost all of it. If that doesnt show that Im happy to risk my own funds then...... . BTW - please dont feel bad about starting the thread as it was to help other members and was 100% honest and positive - never apologise for that :)

Ive decided Im going to deposit again to claim the SUB - as annoying as it is, its still a good deal I guess and it comes recommended by people I trust at CM.

I still dont think the CS is up to standard and they are a little abrasive, but a second chance I will give them.

I apologise for being a bit over the top peeps

I played in an existing account, and got my scratchcards with no problems. I played the last 6 days, and "won":- 5,5,0,5,0,5 - on the scratchcards. Clearly, KK has some kind of "system" to have received all those high value cards:rolleyes: What a cheat!:p

That'll be another 5 Rams for me on Thursday at 54p a spin:p:p

Update:

I decided to deposit again to make up the rest of the wagering and claim the SUB, but when I go to deposit I get:

We are unable to accept bets from you at this time. Please contact our

I have emailed CS and the promo team, but after 48 hours I have received ZERO response (except the auto-responder)

I'm reeeeally trying to be patient but you have to admit it isnt very good service.

Well if I cant deposit anymore, they had better return my original one.

That's me done with this lot.

I wasn't sent two scratchcards that I am sure I was due.

6 days + 3 read emails + no response = a lost customer

If Laddies ever want me to play there again, they'll have to come to me!

What are the expectations on customer service from an accredited casino? Are Ladbrokes actually meeting the standard here? Does anyone get replies from their CS just now?

Well, in a word, NO. Not communicating effectively with the customer is bad service, and is what the customer uses to judge the performance of the rest of the operation.
I have received all due scratchcards, and I believe the other E-mails I am getting are automatically generated (I have been credited the last scratchcard and informed there are more to come throughout December (mitts off KK:p) in the "Christmas Cracker" promotion, where I have the choice of three games on which to lose heavily meeting the daily 50 deposit & wager.
It seems that where MANUAL replies are needed to solve problems, they are trying to imitate BelleRock CS, rather than uphold the reputation of the Ladbrokes brand.
If any UK players are having trouble, there is a free phone number - not much use for Aussies though:D

For this one:-

We are unable to accept bets from you at this time. Please contact our Customer Service department at care@ladbrokes.com or on 0800 9 17 27 37
for further details.

Worth looking at the terms to see if Australia has become excluded since the first deposit. This has happened at a few other casinos recently, and may have been implemented on 1st December along with the change to the promotions; although in this case CS should have stated this, rather than have you contact an unresponsive CS desk.
The new UK rules might be having the effect that casinos are reviewing which countries they accept bets from, and there are legal problems for SPORTSBOOKS that accept bets on Australian events, the only cases where there have been reports of the Australian authorities actually taking action against online wagering by it's residents. Australians cannot play at Lasseters, and I expect it is strictly "illegal" for them to play at any online casino, but the rules are not enforced, which is how it used to be in the US (unclear laws, rarely pursued). It seems Germany has also become a problem, and there is now a "No Germans" category for accredited casinos to go with "No USA".

Cheers Vinyl :)

I did check of the terms etc and there is nothing regarding Aussie players at all - and my account is still open so you would think they would close it immediately if we were banned.

The legislation over here makes it technically legal to play online for the average joe. However, the fines are huge for anyone caught promoting online gaming to Australian residents. It is interesting to note that NO company or individual has been prosecuted under the Act since its inception in 2000

I'll let you know the outcome in a few weeks when CS replies to my emails.
