How often are these things updated? How often are they suppose to be? Maybe someone can shed some light on the details of this. I asked Lance and he didn't know.

Wow ! That is rather an old certification !! How often do casinos have their RNG checked and certified ? Does anyone know? I am really curious now because I play daily at 3 dice and other casinos to and would like to know if software should only have a" one time certification " ? Or, should it be checked yearly etc etc.? This is NOT an accusation !! It is just a question !!! Thanks in advance for any input from 3Dice or any other casinos !!

not sure how long ago it was checked

I am not sure how long ago it was checked but according to the company they are not listed in the list of recent clients. Since it's a new year though that really doesn't tell us much. But 2009
is a long time ago. I guess we should Enzo an email and ask him lol he might have a more recent one and just never had the time or really the reason to update it. Yeah I know I b and moan about 3dice but still wouldn't go anywhere else. :)

Hi Guys,

Certificates like our RNG certificate remain valid for the lifetime of the code they describe. This particular certificate verifies and confirms the accuracy of the RNG used by 3Dice, which (and this can be verified through code signatures) has been in use in its current version since 2009 (and will remain in use for many years more.).

Recertification is only required (and useful) if either the RNG code changes - or the second law of thermodynamics turns out to be invalid - both of which are unlikely ;).

p.s. Angle Gaming - our software provider - should be on itechs client list ..

Enzo.

Enzo, I appreciate the response. I don't really understand everything you said its a bit technical so you may have already addressed this in the explanation but I just didn't understand it. For a customer such as myself, how would I know that you did or did not change the code?

What about the RTP certification and software integrity ? Is that included in the RNG certificate? Or are they seperately verified? and certified ?

Random

I have never understood all the certification...or the random of the games. I know at times you will spin forever and never get a bonus...I have always wondered how it worked. BTW...not accusing...just don't understand it. =)

that is only the RNG certificate ! That is not a certification for the software game fairness etc. !!!

The RNG certificate proves that all games are random. I am not an expert so if I am wrong someone can correct me. If the games have proven to be random then does that in of itself, prove that they are fair? In addition, 3Dice publishes the current RTP of their games in real time. In my opinion 3Dice is one of the most transparent and honest casinos out there. Yes, the slots are on the high variance side but 3Dice makes no secret of that.

There are RTP certifications , fairness audits, and the integrity of the software !! I am not stating that 3Dice isn't fair but, it goes a lot further than just an RNG certificate and posting current RTP of games in real time !!!!

You know you can contact Enzo directly and ask him. I am sure he will be able to answer all of your questions. :)
