if i go on a trip and use my wife's laptop to log on to a casino and play
from another location , will it be all good with the casino's
i ask because the poker sites can get picky about this because of collision/cheating ??
responses gratefully accepted :) R C

If I were you, I would call the casino you wish to play at directly..tell them where your going, tell them if you'll be on someones else's computer, ask them excatly what your asking us, this way they can't come back and get you for having mulitiple accounts etc...and then ask them to send you an email for your protection..

I have never had a problem traveling with my laptop and logging into any website or casino from a different location other than home and playing. That is just my experience.

Hiya. As long as you have it downloaded on your lap top, "First", from the current location, you are fine. The only catch would be trying to get the money from another location after cash out. You might want to wait until you get back to do that.

I mean, this is the whole point of the internet, Isent it? To do anything from anywhere. Except the US of course, because????????Umm........well.........Well Just because damn it!

I travel alot out of the UK so I usually let my casinos know where I will be. This normally sorts any issue. I even have to work from Denmark quite a bit which is not exactly Casino freindly but aint had a problem when I let them know that IPS etc are switching and what my destination is.

Ive never had any problems with that. besides my ip-address can change since it is dynamic from where I get the internet. Usually it stays the same but i have had a week where it changed every day.. never been an issue!

Me too.
The only thing I found was that I literally could not play any Wagerworks casinos when I was in the Czech Republic, not even in 'practice mode' so they are clearly automatically blocked by IP.
All other casinos & poker rooms - no problem!
(And I never informed them before I traveled).

Any half decent operation check it, see that you're playing from the same PC, see that you're logged into your own account and just leave you be.

Other operations may just not care and if it were fraudulent, blame it on the fact that you didn't keep your credentials secure enough :)

Either way, you'll be kosher!

my experiance

No problem playing - but don't deposit or withdraw from a different country. I did that once and it took forever to get it cleaned up.

I think it has more to do with pay methods then the casino.
