I felt I have to vent on this - loyalty, and how it starts to doom my play

Being loyal to a normal business, you can expect to have generous discount, great offers.
Loyalty to your work, you are rewarded with promotions and various perks.

Being loyal to selected few online casinos, well, it starts to doom my play slots...

Last year, has been the worst year so far for my online play and sunk more than 150K in merely 12 months... to 5 casinos I was really loyal to, 3 MG, 2 netent.

The start of the year, I suspended all of them for 6 months and start with new ones. Here, I have to mention, I played 10+ years online, I had only selected few casinos to play at.

From these new casinos (8 or 9), every one of them, I am so far at plus positions, most of these new casinos, I had 2 or 3 cashout in the beginning. On MG, my min cashout is AUD 1000, and Netent, 800 EURO. So that is quite a significant gain for me.

Then after 6 months of suspend play, I went back to my old casinos I was loyal at, played 2 or 3 months so far, I would generally expect 1 cashout from 15 - 20 deposits...
or more than 60% of holdings... I do not really mind losing, and casinos out there to make money... however, should I be punished for my loyalty towards casinos...

Over the years, I have seen big groups' downfall, new software providers emerge, the competition to recruit new players has been ever-increasingly dramatic. However, at what costs to the loyal customers?

Every time, I seen one of my Favorited casinos closed or change hands, I feel sad, and more I am cherishing the remaining, as so many good memory of excitements. Now, the good times are fading away, and remaining seems blight...

I myself a dedicated person, to my work (almost a decade). Come to playing online, I intend for the same, 1-2 casinos, and less than 10 slots to go to, however, seemingly, I am punished for my loyalty...not only from casinos but from software...

*disclaimer - this post has no means to claim that online slots are rigged or not random in long run. it is only my feel, my style of playing does not fit for most online slots playing any more. I shall apter the change

Not really, money is one side, I expect to lose, but come to new casinos, I do not know if I will be paid, if I ever won something big, like at 15 to 20 K level (once or twice a year)...

Just curious, but in 10+ years of online gaming, have you ever not been paid a deserved five figure sum?

4 times, RTG twice, 15200 USD and 9200 USD (bonus T&C)

MG twice, 11000 AUD and 8900 AUD (bonus T&C)

I simply do not go back to casinos not pay me regardless what reason, lose lose situation...

All these situations are that I am at the overall net gain position... in my first few months of playing at these certain casinos

@plasticnote; I noticed that one of your big payouts was in USD.
Do you play in different currencies often and how do you handle the currency conversion fees?

I was a VIP with moneybookers. so I have 4 accounts with different currency. I normally use deposits and cashout to each of them accordingly. however, I tend to play in AUD most of time if available. moneybookers used to only charge 1.9% for VIP. I do not know these days.

I also buy 10000 EURO from Forex, but only twice a year, one of my friends working in EU, and he can help me with upload.

Still, conversion costs dearly...

They would be wouldn't they, as he played at RTG sites which only deal in USD? Now there is iNetbet.eu which I believe is the only RTG exception.

No it's not. Jackpot Capital just opened one too. Don't remember its name, but it's accredited :D

I did not get my cashout for that big win..., the group I played with (not inet or JPC), is one of my most hated RTGs, never touch any of them from then on. Many years ago, they have a term that you cannot cashout more than 3000 from the first 4 deposits with bonus, and on my No 4 deposit, I hit a RJ for 13000 USD and that money is never seen again...

Right - 'loyalty'. Ask yourself why they do this? One major reason aside from maintaining turnover is the house edge. It helps prevent 'hit-and-run' players like I used to be. I joined many casinos, won well and withdrew and closed the accounts. This meant the casino would never retrieve my profits, whereas if I played there over a period of time I would gradually end up (as we have seen by long term stats posted here) with 95% or so RTP, and the site would get its 5% edge on my slot play. It also works the opposite way, and encourages a player not to close their account in a fit of pique after joining and having a bad run (which I have also done in my less-experienced days.)
The casinos know that if you are a long-term player the law of large numbers more or less guarantees them that overall you will pay them their house edge. They are businesses after all.

Hit and run will be my new strategy to play online... with so many new casinos, I can have a new account each week, (make sure I will sign up with affiliates, so if I lose somthing, casino will not get all the money )... but I do feel awful... Last month, I won 4000 from a MG casino, and they keep sending offers, I felt if I go back, 99%, I will lose, so no, not even 100% reload...

Basically, I believe anything a casino offers to you, aside from straight cashback, is for their benefit, not yours. That includes the loyalty system and bonuses and whatnot. If you are playing to maintain your loyalty you are playing right into that.

Apparently you have considerable means, you should really consider not taking any offers that casinos 'give' you and just play straight deposits. I look at bonuses like only being good for smaller depositors and chiefly to extend playtime.

This is my feel, the sign up bonus, does offer a great value. To keep a pleasant experience, one may need keep switching places... And loyalty in online casinos does hurt playing... not benefit...

However, on land based casino, loyalty seems carry much weight...

Forgive me for asking but it's still early here and I haven't finished coffee yet. Are you looking for New casinos? Are you looking for new software? Are you just expressing the frustration of playing at same places and not winning anymore?

If your looking for new places ask for what you like and we can help you find it.

If your venting -go for it -

I think everyone here has hit a slump with their favorite or usual casino and knows how you feel

Oh and good morning ==coffee is just so good in the morning, I just love my first cup.

No more favorites, not worthy; hit and run, I am trying it out, so far so good, I found a lot of browser based casinos paying out really quick (in few hours after I send in the documents). As long as I stay in the range of accredited casinos, I feel safe. Most of them I never tried before...

I make few examples,

I played Jurassic park in a new casino, I signed up, I hit 500x plus bonus, 3 times in one single session. before that, I never had 500x on this slots what so ever.

Netent, I sign up 2 new casinos - and hit 600x and 800x on TCFBL in the first week I played. I complaint about this slots so long and never know it can payout so good.

Funny, from a MG I used to have USD account, I was offered with a new account with AUD. So I played and on the first session, I hit the hot mode on T2 with 600x and next session, I hit another hot mode with 990x. before that, god knows how many spins I played on T2, never seen one single hot mode.

I am offered better chances and bigger SUB, why should I have favorites? For 11% bonus over 500K deposits and 150K loses in only 3 or 4 places?

Not worth it!

I , too, was a loyal player to a select handful of accredited casinos. Faithfully depositing daily . My change has been due to lack of withdrawals from these same individual casinos after 50-100 deposits (at same individual casinos) respectively. The feel is something is not the same as it once has been and the numerous deposits show this to be true. I used to be able to withdraw by the 4-5th deposit respectively from any (same) casino....now, once it goes past the same (4-5) number of deposits without a glimpse of an increase in wins, I move on nowadays.

When you cannot get past (increase) your initial deposit after 100's of deposits (previously tried and true)...you know something has changed but cannot prove it, so...loyalty to online casinos is a moot point any more for me. Online casinos do not realize all the offers in the world will not change a player to continue to play where they cannot at least feel there is a chance to win. I now avoid casinos for months/years after a run of deposits with lack of withdrawals. **This is just my experience of the past 18 years of play online.

We are not trying to scam or take advantage of casinos, we want to see big wins and enjoy excitements from time to time. If hit and run is the only way of doing it, so what can I say?

it means nothing to alot of casinos , but there are still a few around who treat you well , these are the only casinos i bother with holding in favourites any longer , alot of accounts i dont use i wait for them to remember who i am ;)

Last year, over a period of time, I was mad, keep depositing big numbers with so little good wins. Think back then, all I need do is just switch to a new place.

there are no doubt some realy realy good casinos wether winning or losing here at casino meister to which i would simply suggest to anyone to have a account with , but there are some good ones but they realy show true colours when your no longer making steady deposits , this kind of sorts things for me as a player they should never forget the small players who play weekly or every other week , these players should be gold dust to the casinos but they just dont care.

so simple just try to think whos treated you well from the past & you cant go wrong doesnt matter either way as long as they have remember you )

then you know where to play & where to stop depositting

If you are not careful you might find it's a "miss and run..."

SUBs are not that good imo. What you really want is decent re-load bonuses.
At least then you don't have to go through the sign up procedures all the time.
