I am confused

Specificaly , RTG SLOTS.

The rules state the symbols pays left to right

How come sometimes I see line 20 paying something when I dont see the related symbol on the first column Evenn if the substitute symbol is not on the first column

Maybe I am wrong but I do see it happen
The graphics showing the different paylines is too small for me to see.
An explanation , please Thanks

most probably my bet is on you didnt see the reels good enough
