I'm interested in the development of gambling. How to start this business, online casino?
Where can I find info?
What games will bring more profit for owner? How to attract new players?

Even though that thread is old it seems to cover the question quite well.

Best of luck to the OP by the way, if he is serious that is

If the NY denoting location is in USA, then the OP has many more things to consider before even the basics of how to set up/develop an online casino and what's profitable.

Yes, he is likely going to have to deal with the DoJ.

The best way to start an online casino is to pay me LOTS of money and I'll do it for you :D

(That's a joke by the way...)

It's an expensive gig. Licensing, Compliance, Technology, Bandwidth, minimum royalty payments, niche market for skilled staff...

The list is endless, but it's always good to see new brands coming out, it pushes us to do better :)

Best of luck!

so 1 million euros is the cost.
i wonder if there was any netent based casino that closed its doors for (known) financial problems.
and after reading this info makes you wonder why slotobank chosen to risk this million for not paying lets assume a total of 80.000 during past months. what is worse in this business than bad publicity? internet have memory and everything will be indexed so they will lose a lot in long term...

Seems to me there's a lot of people with a spare million these days, so far this year we get a new NetEnt casino almost every week :D
Which is not a bad thing, I won't play at a lot of these new places, but I can already see that some of my regular casinos have stepped up their promos, or added new softwares.

yeah. imagine though Hello Casino investment in still running 50 free spins worth 25E on Twin Spin with no wagering for everyone, minus few countries, one from where i am :( beside the casino cost, 1m+ imagine those that kept playing after that and won big. good publicity but how many would come back with a deposit? 6 digits must be involved in that risky promo alone. i should play the spanish el nino alongside other big lotteries more often, win and make my own Synty Casino, first on the market to include novomatics and WMS in one package beside the bloody netent which ill be happy to have in this circumstance

Pretty far off the mark on this one, no mention of infrastructure costs or any of the actual significant costs involved. A netscaler alone will set you back £100k and that will handle around 3,000 users on site.

It's an expensive gig to get involved in, but given the potential returns it's also a lucrative one if done properly. You need a solid team behind a startup to give it the best possible chance, money can only get you so far.

This is a question with many answers. And you will need good consultants to help you get started. But some of the things to consider would be:

- Provide a good selection of games
- Good and ongoing promotions
- Good customer service (obvious but many operators still overlook this one)
- Fast payouts
- Strong affiliate marketing team
- SEO

What do you think about this SNIP option? What if to do the gambking business through them? I read that they have long been engaged in this subject and in many countries even successfully offline.
Sites that are made on their software I've ever met, but I wonder what will be the salary given the fact that we will have to pay a certain percentage of the company Inbet?

Welcome to CasinoMeister, I see that you are new here. You might want to read the forum FAQs as dropping links to external sites straight off the bat is frowned upon.

This is jumping down the track quite a bit, but if you ever do get to the stage of launching your online casino, my advice for if you want to establish a loyal long term player base, is to not have silly T & C's - especially with bonus and cash out terms.

For eg. Nothing like "at the discretion of the casino, we can void your winnings for any reason deemed by us" or "6x max withdrawal if a deposit bonus is used" that sorta thing. Just keep them simple, clear and honest. Also, investing in a fast payments team will also bring long term loyalty.

It is interesting how this question is often answered without clarifying questions. And they should be – who are the stakeholders, what skill set are they bringing to the table, are they willing to initially work themselves in certain mission critical roles? This gets the variance of startup budget from 5 digit figure to 6 or even 7 digits.

Option 1: a certain well off businessman or group of them intend to start their online casino. Obviously, they will hire people to get all the work done: consultant, general manager, fraud, marketing et.c. They will likely want to become a direct client of one of the top names like NetEnt, commanding a low 6 digit budget for set up fees alone. Then, they will likely opt for own license from top jurisdiction like Malta – another low 6 digit figure between, legal, license costs and taxes. So with this approach, 500K and up is definitely a sound figure, ideally over a million to allow for strong marketing budget.

Option 2: a dream team with desire to get work done one their own and the necessary skill set to do it. Let’s say 3-4 people, out of which 1) would have a good business/legal knowledge to lead negotiations with providers, read and sign contracts. 2) would be coming from an SEO/affiliate/Internet marketing background or simply have access to relevant traffic and know how to convert it. 3+) would be a person(s) with customer service skills, ideally themselves players, understanding the gamer’s psyche. If the above team is in place, then they could get an inexpensive white label from several mid-range providers at set up of 20,000 or even less. Those platforms would have NetEnt, Microgaming and other top providers integrated via reseller deals. Now, with this setup, traffic influx and hard work – even a 50,000 budget is feasible.

So again, it all boils down to who the founders are and what they can bring to the table.
