Hey guys,

I was just wondering how RTG slots should be played.
I mean I know there is probably no real strategy but I am fairly new at RTG slots, regsitered with Inetbet a while ago.
Only mad a few small $25 deposits to get the feel of the machines and I can see in slots description if slot is low/medium or high, very high variance so it is nice to know upfront.
Unfortunatelly I like TRex and Vulcan with guaranteed feature trigger but both slots are damn hard to win on I think.
Had features on both slots on $1.00/$1.05 spins but payout were merely 20x bet.

So any tips on what slots to try?
And what betsize you recommend as I am a medium stake player up to max €3.00/€4.00 stakes when balance is high enough offcourse.

And those Jackpots, are they all random?
So they can drop at any time at any stake? Not that I will win one LOL...

And what is average RTP on these slots?

Sorry for all the questions, just wanted to get some input from experienced RTG players...

I think I like the slots as they are new to me but they seem tight...

Cheers,

Mark.

If you have a choice, which you have because you are non US, DONT PLAY RTGslots.
From what I can read here one of the best accredited casino is 32 RED
my 100cents worth.!!

I so agree with Stovetopp but it never hurts to try RTG casinos like InetBet / CWG / JPC and some of the other accredited casinos listed on CM.

My favorite games are Goldbeard and Penguin Power and Tritans Treasures and yes RTG games have been tight imho , they used to payout pretty good.
Just continue to do the small deposits if desired and you will know within a short time if this brand is for you.

If I were in Ireland, RTG would not be my first choice, but I would definitely keep Inet and Sloto and the Club World group as viable alternatives to MG or NetEnt, because they are CM Accredited and are reliable as to reasonably prompt payouts.

They can be tight slots, it's true, but every now and then I do manage to have a nice session. As with Laurie, my favorites are Penguin Power and Triton's Treasure - though I also enjoy Sunken Treasure (I'm a sucker for pirate/nautical themes), Golden Retriever, Warlock and Count Spectacular.

i would say just stick with those your playing , fair comment both those machines are 99% brutal but if looking for big cashout your playing the right machines , if you can put up with them being crap most of the time your be fine it will take a while but im sure you will get a very nice result in the end , other than those i wouldnt bother with rtg like the other forum members have said & only stick with whats been typed for rtg casinos

For deposits of only $25, I have to say bets of even $1 are pretty suicidal (unless you are happy to make a series of deposits one after another).
Personally I wouldn't bet more than 100th of my balance (except when close to busting out, of course!). So if I started with $100, I wouldn't bet more than $1/spin - probably much lower.
Getting the feature games on most (not all) slots is usually to expected every 140 - 180 spins on average, so you need to try to make your money last long enough to hit at least one, as the features are normally where the bulk of the RTP comes from.

Advising which slots to play is always tricky, because ANY slot can be great one day and totally crap the next :(
I actually have some good data, having recently finished playing a huge phantom bonus at an RTG. These were all the games I made more than 100% RTP on:
Slot name ... RTP
London Inspector 251%
Aztec's Treasure FG 215%
Aztec's Treasure 193%
Crazy Vegas 191%
Lockness Loot 149%
Bunko Bonanza 147%
Pay Dirt! 147%
Caesar's Empire 145%
Mayan Queen 138%
Achilles 136%
Derby Dollars 124%
Bulls & Bears FG 123%
Coyote Cash 123%
Golden Retriever 121%
Slots Jungle 121%
Golden Glove 114%
Happy Golden Ox… 113%
Aladdin's Wishes 110%
Green Light 108%
Fruit Bowl XXV 105%
Ocean Dreams 105%
Funky Monkey 104%
Diamond Dozen 103%
BasketBull 102%
Enchanted Garden 102%
Loose Caboose 102%
Lion's Lair 101%

At the other end of the scale:
Lucky Last 68%
Mice Dice (FG) 67%
Honey to the Bee 64%
Glitz and Glamour 64%
Hockey Hero 63%
Lucky Tiger 61%
Dream Run 60%
Cleopatra's Gold 60%
Prince of Sherwood 59%
It's a Mystery! FG 59%
Mystic Dragon 57%
Golden Lotus 56%
Monster Mayhem 55%
Ninja Star 30%

Like I said though - the next player could have completely the opposite results to me, so those figures are pretty meaningless really.
(Note: I only played a couple of games which start with P-Z, cos I was working through them all A-Z, but didn't get to the end!)

And those Jackpots, are they all random?

Yes and Yes.
The odds of getting the "Standard RJ" (on the older slots which have only 1) was quoted by DogBoy as being 1 in every $300,000 wagered, regardless of bet size. But obviously the higher your bet, the greater your chances.

Some people have been known to win 2 or 3 RJs in a week, others have played RTGs for 5+ years and never hit one. (e.g. Me!)

And what is average RTP on these slots?
Most are 94 or 95% RTP.

During the above mentioned bonus I wagered $51,128 and achieved an overall RTP of 96.41%.
This is a little higher than expected, but I did have a few bloody good wins! (Like $1,511 from a $2 spin on London Inspector)
I played 25,484 spins in total on 64 different slots = an average 398 spins on each one.
The least spins I played was 98 on PayDirt - but I had a great RTP of 147% (Got the Gold Fever feature 3 times, one re-triggered)
The most was 2,091 on Hairway to Heaven (cos I LOVE that slot!), but I only got an RTP of 85% there.

That total number of spins means my average bet was $2.01.
My lowest bet was $1/spin and the most I bet was $12.50/spin - but not very many as that's too scary!

Hope the above info is helpful!

A RJ can be hit on a small deposit just as well as a large one , I hit ( 2 ) RJ's many years ago at InetBet within a week of each other and my deposit was less than 30.00 with no bonuses on each hit , betting 1.00.

The last I hit was about 3 years ago at JPC on a 20.00 deposit betting .50 cents and hit for 1000.00 and change.

I still want to believe in Lady Luck but know better , in the end it is all about entertainment with the chance of cashing out if she is smiling on you:D

"How to play RTG slots?"... IMO thats easy dont play them ;) I made about fifty deposits at RTG. Didnt win a single withdrawal (well except for one which was voided). I'd rather be loosing on MG and Netent than playing RTG.

Some people win on RTG but I think all you have to do is check the screenshots (or lack there of) on the winners thread. Maybe do a search for RTG on this forum and see some other members opinions.

RTG has some fun slots though so if youre playing purely for entertainment then defenitely check them out :)

I sometimes try it again when i see those big screenies, but i regret it all the time. Even if make it up to 200-300$. Not even the smallest chance to fullfill wagering most of the time. I can make 1$ bets when i have 200-300$ on different slots (not the highest variance ones), but RTG can suck you dry sooo fast...

I think it's all about the lucky moment. I once made a cashout of 2000$ after playing risk 5$ bets from the beginning, just because i was sure to bust out again :)

My girl just made deposit of 100 bucks at allstarslots and got 400% bonus. Lost it with 70p to 1.50$ bets. I already warned her about playing RTG but she didn't listen. Now she wants to try another deposit at one of their sister casino's with the same bonus. I told her that she wouldn't win even win 1000% bonus but she is new to RTG games since Dutchies can't play them anywhere. I myself have no experience with this RTG casino group, used to play on sloto and their sister sites but gave up on RTG a while ago and I see they no longer accept Dutchies as I told her to try slotocash. If anyone has anything bad to say to change her mind then you are welcome lol.

All Star Slots are ROGUE AS HELL - part of the once great Affiliate Edge Group which turned VERY bad a couple of years back. AVOID!

Read this: Affiliate Edge Rogue Casino Program, Unethical Casino Practice - Casinomeister

Nothing wrong with reputable RTG casinos - I play them on a regular basis myself.
Have a look in Winner Screenshots Jan, Feb, March & May to see some of my great wins! ;)
(Sloto ARE reputable).

PS: Why dig up a 6-year old thread to post this???

I just used the search option on the forum. Don't know what I typed regarding RTG on search. So they are rogue? I don't have any experience with this group. Yes she can't play on sloto or their sister casino's since they don't accept Dutchies anymore.

Isn't this particular group around for about 14 years? I'm thinking the rogue part is because of the hassle with affiliates? Or do they also keep players winnings? She hasn't deposited yet but made an account on sister casino something with red in the name. If they don't pay I should stop her lol.

Out of curiosity what RTG casinos do u play at in the UK?

I thought you can not play RTG anymore since the UKGC made casinos apply for a license? Or are the casinos just allowing people who used to have accounts with them before hand still able to play at them? but closed for new accounts from the UK?

Thanks in advance :)

With Club World Group, it's more than screwing over associates. The current owner is has a very shady past, shafted their employees and business partners. When no scruples are shown, I wouldn't trust my money with them.

So do they fraud with keeping players money? This is the most important. Can anyone recommend other RTG casino for my girl? She can't play on deckmedia group since they don't accept Dutch players. Anyway I'll show her this thread, should be enough.

It has it's flaws, but Inetbet has bonuses that are cashable, at least most of them. They do NOT block play that breaks bonus terms, so it is important to read the terms of the bonus you take EVERY time. ZERO tolerance for player errors. There's a monthly manager bonus if you are behind, and they usually offer small free chips for holidays.

I liked the Jackpot Capital group too. I usually did not take a bonus on a deposit there. Great rep.

I haven't played either in ages, as they do not offer CAD, and our dollar is in the toilet.

Does she want to play RTG because she likes the games or because she was drawn in by the 400% bonus? If it's due to the bonus, she is probably barking up the wrong tree here, those bonuses are generally paid for with bad paying games or dishonest policies. Casinos are in the business of making money.

RTG has multiple settings for the return to player % of their games, and I don't think any casinos actually use the high settings these days, so your options range from "not great" (94%) to "terrible" (who even knows what %).

I was going to say that casinomax could be an option if you wanted to play anyway, but looks like they don't take Dutch players either. Personally I've cut out most of my RTG casinos except for slotocash/Deckmedia these days, with an occasional deposit to the casinomax group.

If you can't even play at those places, I might just give up on playing RTG. (Well, unless there are some good RTG casinos that don't serve USA players I'm not aware of, I think I've looked into all the US facing ones with a decent reputation.) While I can understand if you had a favorite game or two, don't you have much better choices over there anyway?

She wants to play RTG games because she doesn't know them. She almost solely played something with kungfu rooster or so yesterday and lost everything with a balance of 400$. I wasn't there to assist her except for signing up. And yes the 400% is insane to her and because of this she thinks that she has a good chance of winning. Honestly when I myself was playing at slotocash which now doesn't accept Dutch players (found out after she tried to register there) and I got insane bonuses if I remember correctly. Never ever made a withdrawal so I myself wouldn't touch RTG or playtech anymore for that matter.

Yeah - all my RTG accounts are pretty old - from before the UKGC forced most to leave the market.
So I guess they are letting me play on - I never asked to be honest!
