So, not taking a bonus is pretty common practice today, I think. Just want to collect some statistics.

I almost always take the welcome bonus. Where I reject the welcome bonus because the terms are too draconian, I tend not to play at all since it indicates that other promotions may also be of poor value.

I quite often play without bonuses, as this gives me the chance to play games that I like, but are often considered "abusive" by casinos. This usually happens after I have won a decent amount, AND been paid.

Bit early to judge, what with only 8 voters so far. I guess you may be right though as once a player has tried a bonus and works out it is designed for entertainment purposes only (the casinos entertainment) and not a fair arrangement. I doubt the player would make the same mistake twice.

Especially with slot players as a lot of bonuses out there don't allow progressive JACKPOT slot games and many also cap your winnings to a maximum of a few hundred dollars even though the player has had to wager a few thousand (if they are lucky) to win those few hundred $'s.

Hopefully in the future casinos will start to try and under cut each other and offer fairer bonuses to compete with the growing awareness of online players. The ones that remain steadfast and still offer the same old bag of tricks will lose ground and with a bit of luck, never recover. :)

Sorry, but I don't think the question or the poll options are worded very clearly...
I mean, what does "I usually take, but prefer to have the possibility to regret it" mean?

Anyway, I will only deposit at a new casino if I'm getting a half-decent (or better) welcome bonus. If the casinos' bonuses are poor - I wont touch them.
So I voted "Sometimes".

I only take the bonus when.....

I have never deposited to casinos in their casino group. Basically I take it to check out how well their slots payoff. I normally only deposit the minimum required. If I like the casino I will play there if I don't not much lost

It just means that you are usually take bonus, but if you don't want to take it - you should have the option to avoid it (or simply not to claim, like in Rival casinos). Playtech casinos do credit your bonus automatically, but you can contact support and tell them you want it to be removed.

Always threw JackPot factory Group (AllSlots)

If Im playing AllSlots or AllJackpots I always take bonuses, mainly because they have the clearplay bonus system They have 30xplaythrough but your winnings are yours so if say after 5 spins you win 500 you can cash out with out loosing any winning you just loose what ever the balance of bonus you have left. I have palyed this casino a year and I have cash out early never no problem this is what makes them the best by far.

Sometimes, sometimes not

Depends on the casino, the bonus % itself and the WR and other conditions. For example i never take a welcomebonus when it's non-cashable, i just don't see the use of that.

Also i don't take one less than a 100%.

Hiya: I answered, NEVER, EVER, NEVER. For every player that takes a bonus, meets all Requirements, T&C, Playthru, and so on, and actually gets paid, and have nothing negative happen to their acct, it seems to me, that there are 10 others, who at the end of the day, wish they had not taken the bonus.

Ah! Regret is the wrong word there - I think you mean "refuse" ;)

Yes, I agree you should have to claim bonuses in some way if you want them, not just have them thrust on you!
I think the Rival system is superb, because not only do you only have to click a "claim" button rather than typing in some long meaningless code, but also you often find Rival casinos will offer you a whole list of different bonuses, so you can chose the one which best suits you!

I rarely sign up at new casinos, so welcome bonuses are not a issue for me.

But I do sometimes accept lojalty bonuses, either regular bonuses in a lojalty program or individual bonuses. I accpeted a bonus today with 5x WR. 5x...it`s like the good old days :)
