How did you come up with your user name

I'm very unoriginal, first initial of first name and first four initials of last name.

Well I just made up Thrap. Made me laugh and every other name I chose was taken when registering anywhere.
I have found out recently that it was an Olde English word for a crowd or gathering of people
:eek2:

BingoT

22 years ago I started running bus trips to Foxwoods Resort Bingo/Casino and the "T" is my first name or my last name.
And 22 years ago Foxwoods only had the Bingo Hall.

About 15 years or so ago when AOL was flooding mailboxes with cds to connect everyone on the planet to the internet I sat in front of my first chat room sign up screen. I had no idea what to call myself so I looked down at the little 6 year old girl who seemed to refuse to sit anywhere but on my knee and told her to make a name up for me. She always called me uncle and I was about 30 lbs lighter back then so it took her about 30 seconds to come up with Uncle Skinny. Well that was just too many characters for AOL so I dropped an "n" and became uncleskiny. Since then I've mostly dropped the uncle part but still use the last half for pretty much everything online since. To this day some people online still call me uncle.

35 years ago when just a teenager, I started a fictional journal called "The Diary of Jasmine Bedwell". One of her first complaints was that her parents would not call her Jazzy.

Through Dungeons and Dragons, I was usually Jazzy, and when NTN Trivia hit my town in 1984 I was Jazzy there. If I hear someone on the street call me Jazzy, I know they were a fellow triv player.

Great question Vegetagirl. I look forward to everyone's responses.

I love to play online billiards. A lot of people like to chat or flirt, I just like to play pool.......

So the name "just play" is for the people I play against...lol...so when I came here I needed a name, so I used the same name.

My nickname came up from "playing slots like a monster" :D
I used to love to play slots. Now I mostly play Roulette or Texas Hold'em Poker :)

I was a travel agent for 30 years and got really, really tired of it:lolup: One day when I was signing up at a casino I was also feeling really "old", hence...."oldtrvlagt". Carried over when I joined here:D...

My user name on here is just my first name. Luckily it's uncommon enough that I've never run across another when registering at a forum, etc.

I use a different one for my poker forum and sites:

RIPStuNov22 - R.I.P.

I use this as my way of honouring the greatest card player the world has ever known.

Mine is simply my nickname from playing football (soccer).

When I used to play Quake online I used the nick "accident" because I always liked the fact the game used to report frags like "xxx was killed by accident".

Would have used that here just to see "Last response posted by accident" but vB let me down ;)

I wanted to be a professional bowler when I was growing up. Westland Bowl in Westland, Michigan was my favorite place to be. It has 60 bowling lanes.:eek2: It had the groovy 60's vibe about it when I was there.:D

I thought 'jinn/jinni' was the female genie, so used it for years on BBS's, then
learned it was the male jinni/genie, so I searched it, and 'jinnia' is a female
genie. Jinni/Jinnia is how the word 'genie' is actually spelled, we Americans just
changed the spelling over time to genie.

I have always been a WICCAN, so jinnia/genie just seem to go along with the mystical world.

Mine came from pure laziness. Just made a compilation of my middle and last name and use it everywhere.

By the way, Jinnia, dig the Wiccan stuff. :D

Mine was easy. I usually win big or nothing at all.

My original username here at CM was winbig72 because winbig was taken. Then some months later I got to hating the 72 on the end and did a little research into who had the username 'winbig'. I found out that they hadn't visited the forum in over a year, so I asked if I could have that username and Bryan accommodated me. :)

From the doctor in South Park. Alfonz Maphesto I think. I am not sure his name is "maphesto" but he says: me, Maphesto, friend in one episode.
