Same thoughts here. It's just a lower variance version of Hellboy. Would have been interesting if it was more higher variance (for example adding a chance to get more wilds during free spins) but seems like Microgaming has been taking tips from NetEnt

Well, this little game has just turned tonight around for me. Had £50 withdrawal pending for about the last 24 hours and decided to reverse it, moment of weakness. Played the usual IR, Thunderstruck, T2, etc and never really got into big money as bets were between 30p and 60p. Swapped over to Hot as Hades with about £8 in the bank and playing 40p a spin.

Got down to about £1.10 and the Supermode kicked in with a £26 win. Two spins later, another Supermode yielding about £8. Three spins later, 3 crystal skulls and £24 in the bank. Two spins after that, 5OAK of the little diamond yielding shit including two wilds in the win - £60 (think I was on 60p a spin by now).

Now had around £118 in the bank, so withdrawal of £100 in place and a bit to play with.

Was looking at a complete loss, then amazed at the features and wins in just 10 spins of this game!
