Got a 7 on the second hand..........and had to stand. Dealer flipped a face and pulled a OMG......................7

nice delayed drama there haha
I go to atlantic city. i've never been to the borgota believe it or not. i always bet the max table limit in ballys or caesars (1k per hand) at least a few times. lost 3k then won 1.5k back.
i dunno why, but im scared to bet that much in public. i'm always ID'd about 5 times as soon as I enter (i look 15 people say). plus, all these old guys talk to me at the table and its distracting. so i dont bet over 1k unless i can concentrate.
last time i was there, this chick lost 3k (her savings she said) and was talking to me and standing behind me for about 2 hours. it was extremely distracting, but im such a nice guy I just tried to play as best I could and be polite.
i have better experiences online

If there is a high roller playing they will increase the limit to $10,000. As long as the table isn't reserved anyone with the min can play too. I have found that playing at a higher limit table usually draws a better quality player. Plus it really is something to watch someone bet 10 grand on 1 hand

Do they pay you more for three 7s? In the casinos I visit,it simply counts as 21 with no extra payout.m249a said:Largest single wager was at the Borgata casino in Atlantic city. $7,500. I'll have you know, my biggest bet on one hand, and this is no word of a lie - it's god's honest truth, was a whopping THIRTY DOLLARS!
Have a good one!

You know - it's so long ago I don't remember if I won or not!mitch said:Ah but did you win KK?
Anyway I hope you are avoiding Nafanny's fruits system, (remember the 50g) Bolton lost again today just think of the misery! The Latics won 3-1 though.

I do hope he got his money's worth of enjoyment out of it.Slotster! said:I watched a chap play 25,000 through a 'Double Diamond' slot machine in Las Vegas (Ceasars Palace) in November this year. Didn't get one hit, and took him about four minutes at (I think) $500 a spin, two coins

Everyone (dealers) kept on pestering me to play on as I was really on a roll and never lost any hands in more than 30 hands. At that point, I actually decided to quit and go home but I ended up giving into the pressure from the dealers and etc.
I was on the Player's side... I took the Cards, passed the other 2 to the dealer. The dealer was asked to open up 1 card... it showed a 9 (NINE) and I was seeing an ACE on my 1st card. I was so totally devastated, thinking that I would definitely lose my money... the dealer flipped over another 9 (NINE), making him have a NATURAL 8. I thought to myself, I am not looking anymore and just walking out with nothing. I stood up, threw the cards to the dealer (they too thought I lost for sure), opened both cards up and what do you know, I got a NATURAL 8 as well... tieing up everything. I took the money and left directly after that game! LOL... that all happened in MGM and their table limit was $100,000.
Next day (I stayed in the Rio), I went down, withdrawal (from safe keeping), $10,000 played Blackjack at the Salon (High Roller Room) and again, I WON about $13,000 (total $23K in hand) in less than 30 minutes with $300 - $500 per hand. The Casino Host came in and was talking to me... and feeling all good and etc said it was going to be my last hand and thew $10,000 on the betting circle, even the host stood back, everyone stopped (dealers and all) and all eyes were on me. I got 2 Face Cards, dealer had a 4 showing. Feeling VERY EXTREMELY certain that I'm going to win, I stood at 20. Dealer flipped over a 7, my heart went into the drain at that point itself. Dealer drew a 2 and then another 3, I was so happy as it was 16, then the final card came... yeah, you guyz guessed it... she drew the most pathetic... most lonely number of them all... a 5 and took $10,000 out of my hands just like that.
On the whole, that single trip itself made me about $50,000 richer. Of course my heart grew along with it... and I also lost a TON of money other times. Now, my biggest hand is $100 (once a day at max).
