FWIW, we block both proxies and US hits, but those take two separate layers of protection. I know from my experience that a program that blocks US proxies might fail on some other addresses in the US.

To OP: The only way to be 100% sure you're blocking US accounts is to check every IP manually and perform some kind of ID verification if you have any doubt about where the hits are coming from. It's labor intensive. But I'm assuming the original intent here was to stay out of trouble (not to promote your site), so my advice is to be vigilant. You might or might not know this, but there are entire Federal task forces that cruise around casino sites and try to deposit and play, and if they're successful they'll go after you.
