Had those too. They seem to be likes/thanks notifications. Not new ones, just got notified of a bunch of older ones it seems.

No biggie I suppose. Maybe the notifications got somewhat reset when changes were made to the system? (the counter at the bottom of posts as opposed to list of people who liked/thanked said post)

I do not know if talking about the OP but it was just somthing that I seen? Once I refresh it had gone, Unsure it that was a built up from when I joined, But pics do not lie, I know you do some up dates and at least my inbox was not filled up with that many,

I really do not know how it works, I tried and gave up, But I can asure its a genuine pic
