today has been one of the most stupidest days playing online , i have had in such along time, i was just wondering if its me being foolish or is it just human nature, i won a bit at 3- dice and boom it was in my q.t account so like a dummy, im off to one of the six i play at reg. first stop, 200.00 gone in an hour or so, call c/s as i didnt even hit a feature, they put in 150.00 bucks10 times playthru no max, made my playthru, ended up with several hundred ahead and played it out, same at casino# 3 and #4, is this normal behavior, to just keep playing it out? do i need to slow my happy ass down some? i dont want to stop playing but i do feel like maybe i should cut back some, money isnt the issue, its just i feel im not playing smart like i used to.has anyone else ever had these sorta days? ..................laurie

Laurie, I call those days... Brain fart days.

The older I get the more Brain Fart days I have.

but i do feel like maybe i should cut back some...
If you feel that way, even just a little, my advice would be to take a break for a bit.

Hi last 4 days, And only played on two occasions on only 2 off them 4 days reversed three withdrawls for $3140.00 at cocoa and inetbet got 1 hour and 50 mins off play time for just over $3k that killed my game as for if that money hit my webwallet i could off got so many match promos and alot off fun and maybe a huge roll.

Makes me wonder if its all realy worth it, but tomorrow i will make good off 7 sultans 100% sign up bonus on a $150 deposit and roll on $300. probaly will get many more hours out off it than the last 4 days for sure. :)

playing it out laurie try hit and run seems to work better.

Ps. "playing it out laurie" kinda rhymes :p

Definitely human nature!

I'm with lots0 - as I get older I get stupider.
I have a 'method' which I know has a good chance of leading to profit, but all too often these days that goes out of the window in the search for that elusive 'Big Win'.
Mad, just mad...

Not uncommon for any gambler to do this every now and then but, Laurie, as a friend, I tell you this:

Find something else to do with your time and money!

I've reversed a cashout once in 5 or 6 years of playing online. (I regreted it as I lost it all, and I beat myself up over it for quite some time afterwards.) I'm stubborn. I know the casino WANTS me to reverse, so I will not.

Set some limits, hon. Only so much deposited per day or week or whatever will work for you. Set cashout goals, 2x or 4x deposit, or whatever, then hit that withdrawal button and close your browser. Whatever will work for you and help you get control of those buttons. Uninstall the casino if you must. You control those buttons, not the other way around.

Now, I'll stop being a party pooper busy body and let ya'll get on about your business.

We all have them day's that's for sure.

Like lastnight at MGM Foxwoods I was down $80.00 and I had a Brain fart lol and I said one more $20.00 and it was late and in 5 min I made $200.00 and went home.

It's all human nature and at times we can't stop.

I use to have those days where I just kept depositing money like it was coming out my butt. :eek2: After a few lectures and threats from my husband.I now stick to my budget ( I only can play 100 to 150.00 a week )

I still have way to many days where I keep playing long after I should have stopped.

Even taking1/2 hr away from the PC helps. It reminds us what we are playing with. At the casino, I head to the bar after a good win or a bad loss. Last time I had 82 pints of Guinness. I won that night but I had to book into the Priory Clinic. I'll pay off my rehab debt within 3 years

I was up to $700 from a $60 deposit at Dash casino at the weekend. My brain was screaming "CASH OUT NOW!!!" But I done my best to ignore it and boy did I pay for that. I think I went around 1000 spins @ $1.50 on hitman without the green laptop bonus, I kept chasing it and before I knew it my balance had dropped right down.

When something like that happens I enter this state of mind were I just want rid of the money, so start betting stupid. I went down to $38 before a few bonuses brought me back to $220, then I cashed out   ........ We all do it I think and everytime it happens to me I think "Well at least I learnt a lesson" but you know what? I don't think I have  lol

Have You Ever Just Played Stupid Online

Oh no, never.

Years ago I was up $5,000 and my dad came over and said "why don't you cash out?" I said cuz it's hitting and I'm having fun, I was spinning $9.00 spins. Later on my husband came home and said the same thing, "why don't you cash out"

Can you guess how much I cashed out?

$0.00.........yup, nothing!!! I blew it all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What an idiot.

What I have been doing lately is cashing out $200 or more once I hit, I do a few more spins and cash out. (always leaving a bit to still play with) I am a small depositer at a time 50-100, so when I reach 200 I hit the button!

I cant say that I really do. Ive reversed $50 before but never reversed more than that this last couple of years Ive been gambling online. I only wish I could get to more than $500! That would be a dream for me.
I just dont think its in the cards. I just dont low roll anymore either, I dont do max all the time either but looking at the WS's, Ive def bet more than some of the people who have won a nice chunk. I guess its not my time. When It is....Im w/ding just like the others and not looking back

Well im part of this group but until now i thought i was the president of the
Cash out now and deposit elsewhere group. LOL But come on folks we have all seen it dead dead spins then you hit a nice one and usually once you have that
hit you do hit again. And then again maybe not.

i play "stupid' sometimes and have reversed as well. Nowadays, i just try to keep in mind that if it's an rtg casino. you're lucky to have won anything at all.

I have to remind myself that they don't pay even close to what was before and to remain in the "present environment/situation" which is that their slots are tight, payout seems well below 70% and you got a little lucky...so just cashout and wait.

I think you have to understand that most of us are "gamblers".

We allwant to win but how many of us would cash out if say, we deposited $100 and hit $500 on the third spin?

I know I wouldn't because I enjoy playing.

It's understandable that when we hit it good we still want to play. Maybe it's not human nature but it's "gamblers nature".

I enoy playing too and gambling in general (casino, sports, etc.). I feel better though when I walk out of a casino with their money and didn't give them mine. So, sometimes the greed makes you feel so much worse when you lost it all. It's all about self discipline and control...really hard not to keep playing, but if you set a limit and say you'll stop at say $400 after you've won $500, then you sort of get the best of both worlds.

well...i lost 28000$ from a 300$ deposit.....too drunk to remember much but i I have the play history and many comp points to remind me.

whats done is done....shoulda coulda woulda...

im a casinos dream

RWS - Reverse Withdrawal Syndrome.

I have been stricken by this dreadful disease in the past, and I am hoping not to relapse. I got a doozy of a win on Hitman, played some of it back on other games and cashed out a nice $2,000. Over the course of a weekend blew it all back by the reverse withdrawal method that casinos offer us as a "convenience". Rather than beating myself up, I prefer to think of that session as losing my initial deposit (not more than $100).

Exercised more discipline next time I was well up. I've not had to test my resolve lately though:(.

verry low percantage of people can "get out" of this madness, stay calm and cash out money, not seekinig for more.
i guess you have to set up limit and respect it, cashout when reached.

But see, if people actually cashed out when they were up a bit, then casinos really wouldn't make much money. The basic theory is that most people stop playing when they hit zero.

If you've actually withdrawn money when you're up, then that's an achievement!

What bothers me the most is. Lets say im up $642 and decides that im gonna spin a few more times. Even though i have it set in my mind that im gonna cashout ahead. If I manage to lose and cashout at $500. The fact that I was at $642 and lost $142 bothers the hell out of me. I've learned not to reverse. But that $142 sure does bug me for a few moments.

Hmmmm, I'm confused BigJ. In another post today you talk about gamblock and attending G.A. meetings. Is that where you learned how not to reverse withdrawals? I'm just sayin.

Definitely human nature especialy for those that enjoy a challenge..

I am on that stay away from computer time and it works wonders...Today is my first day on my home laptop in 5 days...and I haven't spent a dime...(I usually pop in from work during this time off period)

I think that the brain goes into a mode that says "do it" "do it", it's right around the corner...one more time..one more bet, or one more spin and it's like it's not real....it's the challenge that makes us continue I think...

So I have learned that once my small bankroll is gone...I stay away till the next deposit is allowed on my budget...

If I double up or hit my limit of wins...I cash out half..save the rest for another day to play..It has worked wonders for me..

Until that little gremlin jumps on my shoulder (the "stupid" hits as you say Laurie) and makes me lose the rest of my winnings I had left...but then after being mad, I know I have a nice chunk already cashed out..and I have learned NOT to touch it till the next deposit is allowed for my budget...

It works for me..but you have to find a way to shake that gremlin off your shoulder and stick to it..you will be so much happier with yourself...good luck!
