i just want to say before i go, i have logged in here for the first time in a month and seen things are no differerent to what they where before.

when i first started playing casinos i played at cirrus and was ripped off, i then found this site and although i never got my money back (although i didnt PAB about it) i followed CM's list of approved casinos religously and i will say i have never ever got into bother by following it.

however i will say that his list has serious omissions and very serious inclusions (i.e. any playtech), so i will say time for me to give up the bat and wish everyone good luck.

so take care everyone and i wish everyone the best of luck

Hey Scrollock!

What do you feel are the serious omissions? I pretty much exclusively play at 32RED, Roxy Palace or the odd Crypto these days, but I'm so glad I found this site before trying the others in the past! I've fortunately never (really) been ripped off, and I'm sure using here as a starting point is the only reason!

What's interesting for me is that I don't ever really participate in online forums anywhere, yet I find myself increasingly involved in this one due to the level of knowledge and diversity of personalities you find here! All good for the players and the casino's I believe; whilst helping us all to enjoy our (second) favourite pastime with a little more peace of mind.

If there are omissions, then tell me about them. I know for a fact there are some excellent casinos that are not listed here. Reason? I don't have a marketing team signing these people up, and I don't have the time to do this myself.

There's commitment involved being listed here. And it's up to the casino to approach me if they want to get on board. Simple as that. I meet with the operators, we make philosophical agreements, they join the forum, and we go from there.

As for Playtech, I have three Playtech Groups -and that's about it. You know as well as most everybody else, Playtech and I have not seen things eye to eye, and for about a year I refused to endorse them. But I brought these operators on because I can trust them - simple as that.

Sorry you're feeling bummed out about the place. I thought I was doing a pretty good job, but I know I can't please everyone. Hope you'll choose to still hang around. :D

My friend ...

You are so wrong...

Honestly, you might go throug eCogra or Jurisdictions or whatever... I wouldn´t change this site for any other.

I strongly believe that if the Meister endorses a Casino is not because he just took a look to the main site and said ok....

I can guarantee that most of the sites here run a decent business.

As you may know Brian is a human being.. He is no octupus with 100 tentacles or has omnipotent powers to be everywhere at the same time.

I am sure that if you come with a complain from a Casino on his approved list he will make sure to check what is happening and that the casino will also come forward with a proffesional explanation on the issue.

I am new to the forum, but not new to the site...

The best example of how good this site is might be the incident with Mummysgold. Darren was always available making his best to answer everyones´questions and help everyone with his complains. As you may see its still is a casino accredited by the meister since I am sure he knows they run a good business.

From your thread all I can say is that you have 0 experience or very little knowledge on how the industry works.

Regarding Playtech.. I couldn´t agree with you more... Awesome software, however some of the people who run their sites are not much trust worhty.

I hope that from your post you are excluding the Main Street Group (Slots.com, Vegascasinoonline.com, Twinacescasino.com, etc), and Kiwi Casino which are the Playtech Casinos acredited by the Meister. Alll of them I can guarantee run a fine and professional operation. Race track I don´t know much about them...

My god..

This is going to be a popular thread..jejeje

While writing my post, the Meister and Slotser posted first when I thought I will be the one posting first...

I am expecting to see more posts from the guy starting this thread...

Scrollock,

Why should there be huge differences in just a month's time. Do you mean that you would like to see casinos that were accredited a month ago being rogued and vice versa. I think players want stability. If a casino is viewed as trustworthy one day and is a rogue the next day, everything will be thrown into disarray. I am sorry to hear that you have given up on this site and I hope that you have something even better. As for me, this site is simply awesome and I would recommend it to players who dont have a clue about online gaming.

BTW, what were the serious 'omissions' and 'inclusions'?

Whether you approve the recommended list or not doesn't make this site and forum less valuable. Without this site, you gotta admit you'd be less informed.

There is one group of casinos accredited by casinomeister I would have had a hard time with if I didn't know this site. Handled the matter through communication with the casino rep here as their perceived intention was to delay the proceedings.

I couldn't personally recommend more than 10 casinos and the only one I would say is missing on the list is Harrods. But I'd rather see a long list on casinomeister accredited casinos as I know Bryan and the posters would be able to help when a problem occurs; plus, the casino operator is more likely to listen. PMing a casino rep is often much more efficient than emailing their customer service.

If anything, you can express your opinion freely as long as you follow the rules. And if you end up with Spear, Jetset or Bryan opposing you, don't worry; you'll have 20 posters on your side ;)

Lest we forget, this site is about providing information - not marketing. There is a hefty pupulation that never make it to the forum; they just visit the rest of the site reading the newsletter or news or whatever.

google "online casinos", and I'm like on page 53. google "online casino information" and I'm in the top three results.

LMAO... very good sales point :)

scrollock, whatever you choose to do, best of luck. I hope you'll come back and visit us every now and then if you do choose to leave for an extended period of time.

To each his or her own....

I always appreciate a difference of opinion because it is nice to see both sides of every issue. But for me, personally, I wouldn't play anywhere that wasn't on the Meister's approved list now, after I made a terrible mistake and played at a site that wasn't approved and I got burned. Those folks are still in the "under observation" category where I hope they will stay until I get my $$$$. This is the only forum and chat I belong to, and I have learned so much here in the last few weeks. I really appreciate this site! (And I got a new drink recipe to boot);) Seriously, though, I have received a wealth of gambling information and advice here that I am certain I couldn't have gotten anywhere else. And it also gives us all a chance to moan and groan over our losses and gloat over our winnings, esp. those who cannot do this at home.

IMHO this site is for sure the #1 watchdog site for online casinos. When you have regular contributors like Casinomeister, Spear, Jetset, Caruso, Sirius and others you are getting the cream of the crop as far as people who really know this industry and who have influence.

If you ask the casinos which site they respect the most i am sure it would be a landslide vote for Casinomeister.:)

Anyway, good luck to you Scrollock.

First off Scrollrock, Glad you posted for the last time, been looking for you and seems all you have been doing is browsing.
I agree there are some casinos that I wouldnt touch on the accredited list. But if you play them, meister will make sure you get paid. And thats enough for me.

As for you watchdog!
What the heck is JEJEJE???

Honestly, I'd like to know of other reputable casino information sites that provide links to those playtechs that aren't mentioned on casinomeister. Enlighten me. And I think jejeje is hehehe or laughing. I think some portuguese speakers laugh this way.

Accredited

Last year, the list was "Reputable Casinos". I pointed out that this might be misleading as the implication was that ones not listed were less than reputable. The title was changed to "Accredited", to indicate this was not necessarily the case. As well as being of good standing, they must pass the tests of accreditation. There are casinos on other sites that are not accredited, but are neither rogue or under observation.
If I am thinking of trying such a casino, and find it has not been formally accredited, I check the rogue listings and the forum to see if there has been negative comment or problems.
One example is Fortune Lounge. They lost the accredited status due to poor handling of the spam campains mounted by some marketing companies, and holding to lower spam standards than Bryan. They would not change their stance, so they ceased to be accredited, but that does not mean they are now rogues (unless you hate the spam).
I have just joined up with GoneGambling (I was waiting for a cash-out over the holiday weekend and had no funds to play with!). Interesting site, but some of the casinos it lists are not accredited here, so I will check more thoroughly for negative views. The only one that gives me concern is Slotland, with their disguised slots masquerading as blackjack and video poker ( all that worries me though, is will they honour the GoneGambling promotions and pay out, and bonus like the games are slots rather than pretending I have a better chance on the Jacks or Better).

One omission deserves to be so, Casino Rewards. They may be on GoneGambling, and Emma may be "courting" me now she has seen my "action" over at Phoenician and Aztec Riches, but their CS sucks!

Gonegambling

I learned about this site some days ago...

Nice site... haven't had much time to go through it.

I see they advertise a lot of Microgaming sites.

I am looking forward to here more about them... They seem nice, but I really enjoy more gambling911 and the meister's site...

Onlinegamblinginsider is one of my favs, however the best forum is the meister's one

Agreed, when you consider the caliber of contributers on this forum you are getting the best of both worlds. While I greatly appreciate the hard work CM puts into managing the sites and value his recommendations, I also take the comments, suggestions, etc from the regular posters very seriously. My "hats off" to all, the Meister and the top notch posters at this forum.
:notworthy:notworthy

This is the best site going. I was a babe in arms before getting my education here. I was burned many times before finding the Meister. I love this forum because I consider you guys my friends and I trust the people that speak here. :notworthy

This site rocks!!

Casinomeister's site is by far the best I have seen!
Not only do you get valuable information. And at what other site can you message a CEO of a casino and get a response??

Even though we don't personally know the people that post here, you start to feel you know them. It's almost like a family of a bunch of people that share a common interest.
What other site can you see people share there opinion and give advice to people that post and share that say they think they feel are spending to much time gambling and spending more money than they think they should online and people respond with ways to try to help them.

I love to see the winning screen shots that people post it makes me happy for them, what other site can you post a positive experience that you have had or get some help from Bryan when you have an issue?? He does not have to run a type of site like this but does, and why does he? Well in my opinion it's because he cares.

For me the best part of this site is that I know I can come here and share my experiences or something I have heard or read and know that it will help someone or inform them of something.

mattysgirl :)

This is the best casino forum I've found.

I know that whenever I have a problem there will be someone here to help - that's a great relief.

The analyzed and experienced information about the various slots is helpful; the effort is well appreciated.

Also, no matter what everyones opinions are, and of course there will be differences, there is always something to be learned.

Thanks CM for a great forum.

great post vinyl,

guess my beef, comes from the "acredited", as said in the initial post, i have never gone wrong by following CM's list, but there is so many casinos who give even greater customer service and honesty than the ones on the list, that the list is not worth anything without their inclusion, i know CM only lists casinos who he has personally met, but you only have to go to one of the annual fairs at earls court and you would meet the lot (even give GP a mouthfull while he their)

Maybe you should start your own accredited casino list site, I don't think anyone will say anything about who you would affiliate yourself with - as it would be your own site. Casinomeister will only deal with those he feels comfortable with as this is his site to make that decision. As there are so many casino operators, advertising people, and affiliate webmasters, I don't think it's fair to assume that CM (or anyone else for that matter) would be able to group them all and decide in a matter of minutes who he feels confident enough to allow here.

At any rate, best of luck to you. :)

Hi Scrollock,

I understand that my accredited list lacks a few really good casinos - this was mention in another similar thread. How about either posting them here or PMing me the casinos you'd like to see listed. I'll search my emails to make sure they haven't been trying to contact me :D

And if someone could point me to that other thread, I'd appreciate that too :D
