The UKGC will soon come calling and this stuff will be banned as they will need something to justify their existence.
To be fair, this was on a crypto casino. Not sure what, if any of it, will be fit for UKGC regulations.

Including your bog standard base game spin, there are a total of 13 options of how you can play this slot. Words can’t justify.

It just kills the joys of slotting. The issue is that all providers, on even the most basic of games, implement these ante bets or extra chances or big spins or...

Just make slots where everyone has an equal chance of getting the bonus(es) without having to pay extra or where some jurisdictions are being discriminated because of local legislation.

Providers that don't give in should get all the industry awards! And the more important CM ones of course.

Nailed it. Bring back the peak of NetEnt and early BTG. Bonus buys killed slots.

For this game the ante bets are especially egregious. It sounds great on the surface the 6 times ante bet where it's 170x times the chance of triggering the bonus....except it's 170 times to trigger the ultra rare bonus and there's no transparency in the fact that the odds on triggering that bonus is going to be in the 1 in tens of thousands odds.

And it doesn't look like it increases your chance of triggering a regular or one of the other "super" features either.....gave it $120 and it went in about 5 seconds with no bonus at all. I can see why recent Pragmatics in the UK market don't have ante bets anymore.....they'd get done in for false and misleading advertising.

I decided to load up the demo of this slot to put a meagre 20 spins each through the four Ante Bet options to see just how ridiculous it was. Of course I landed the Biggie Ghost spins (the 6x ante for 170x increased chance) within 10 spins. It paid a measly 90x.

Despite my dumb luck landing that bonus, I fully agree with your views.

Prag wouldn’t offer these enhanced bets if it wasn’t in their favour.

A lot of obfuscation going on with these ante bets now. Nowhere near enough concrete info, just shiny panels selling hopes and dreams. You're literally just throwing your money up in the air and hoping it comes down again along with a bit more.

Improving your chances of a certain bonus by 170x means fuck all if the actual standard hit rate is something stupid like 1/17 million.

They're just turning playing slots into a craps layout where you put bets on certain events happening. I'd hate to be in the US where this is available; people will be doing their livelihoods on this horseshit.

It’s not just pragmatic that has a multitude of bonus buys , No Limit has been doing this for a while now . What I find most egregious from Pragmatic is the constant banner ads on their own slots that cannot be permanently hidden; I could live with the first one but minimizing it, removes it for few seconds till it decides to pop out again; I’ve stopped playing their slots because of this.

Slot providers are ruining the industry.

Go and try and play one of these slots without bonus bets. Impossible to bonus and returns terrible.

So you are basically forced to high roll if you want to try it out.

The only way to have fun is to play your favorite slots BEFORE all this bs was introduced.

Im tired of it to be honest. Having to dig through rtp to make sure im not being fleeced.. having to decide whether to use bonus bets etc

AND when you win, you have to try and fight almost every casino to get paid with endless bs or document requests.

I play maybe 10% of what I used to play because it's just being destroyed.

This is why i try stick to slots specifically with NO XBET available.

Getting harder now days, but possible.

Cause truth is and i know i use it as a constant ranting example.... Elk Studios

Go play Pirots without xbet lol

Go play Cathedral 9 with no xbet

Its just the way the "Slots" era has shifted now thanks to the high mainstream of social media exposure bringing in more *iconic* celebrity types and high profile streamers/big names to promote the *Dream* to young over influenced and easily impressionable teens and young adults.

Thats why its fkn everywhere now...

10-20 year ago, telling people you gambled was like bad juju, a taboo so to speak, now EVERYONE you stumble across knows what slots are.

Start using certain slot analogies in a room with randoms and end up friends with 10 of them cause guess what, they all fkn gamble to.

Its just....unbearable now.

this is not only a pragmatic thing, relax and push are getting just as bad.

having epic bonus rounds which are not available through normal play is the biggest pisstake move yet.
Do any of these Providers offer as many as 13 different prices to press the spin button? I know that NLC offer a fair few different options but not as many as 13 from memory.

like many other providers most new release from prag are garbage, thats not even taking the extra bet madness into consideration.
feels impossible to bonus without some extra bet.

I completely agree that the situation is getting out of hand. When a slot machine has more than 10 ways to “press the spin button,” it stops feeling like a slot machine and starts to resemble a betting menu.

And a marketing ploy with a 170x “chance” makes practically no sense without information on the base hit frequency if the probability of a hit in base mode is 1 in a million, then even if you multiply it, you’ll still be left in the dark. Bonus/ante purchase options must be accompanied by real disclosure of information (average frequency of feature triggers / impact of volatility), otherwise it’s just a flashy interface selling hope
