This is the other casino advertised on TV a lot on the Blaze channel I wanted to see if anyone here has used the site?

Now I'm just seeing this one is also part of Jumpman Gaming...

It looks like Jumpman has recently updated most of their casinos, e.g., modernizing the look and removing those massive text walls where they were writing about themselves... I don't know about their payout times, but guess it's around a week when all papers are done...lol.

But most bonus offers across those sites are just ridiculous. Here is one:

Pirate Slots
Win Up To 1000% Match Up Bonus Up To £2000
New players only, £10 min fund, £2,000 max bonus, max bonus conversion equal to lifetime deposits (up to £250), 65x wagering requirements and full T&Cs apply here.

"max bonus conversion equal to lifetime deposits (up to £250)"

it means that no matter how much bonus money you receive or how much you win, you can only ever withdraw a maximum of £250 from it.

From what i see there is no benefit or point of playing on their sites.

TBH, i haven't been looking at what bonuses UK casinos offer now and thought that stupid things like these had long gone. I thought they all just offered straight bonuses like - Get a 100% first deposit bonus up to £200, subject to 40x wagering.

This is what I imagined from the start and why I won't be touching Jumpman at all but their adverts seem relentless.

@shady you keep asking about these Jumpman casinos. You didn’t happen to buy shares in Jumpman over the summer?

You’re going to get the same responses as you got in your LuckyAdmiral post.

They are ok, nothing special. Some lousy bonus terms tend to hold them back.

It’s good to hear they have updated some of their sites to make them less text-heavy.

Unfortunately not and I had no idea they were the same brand. I did learn to stick with my instinct and avoid.

As you know and as we've always said: if it looks too good to be true, it probably is...

So somebody deposits the maximum of £200 and spins a promotional wheel to get up to £2000 bonus. If they get the "top prize", they must wager £130,000 and if they succeed - they are capped at a redemption of £200 (with a secondary hard limit of £250 if they deposit more).

I assume that's why there is more chatter about them, a (potential) 1000% SUB is unheard of in the modern UK market - and people will fall for the bait while Jumpman Gaming taps the sign "you didn't read the T&Cs". It's even worse when some of the headline text talks about winning up to £6,000 extra (not caveated with words like "bonus") - when the hard limit for SUB is 3 x £250.

But hey, something something responsible gambling, right?

I used to play at a couple of Jumpman casinos. But I closed my accounts a while ago when they dropped the RTP of a lot of games to the 90%-92% range.

They had also started, randomly, asking for already verified documents. This always happened at the withdrawal stage. Where they blocked even the withdrawal request. So any winnings remained in your balance, until the documents were received and verified.

65xB at 90%? 🤢

They had also started, randomly, asking for already verified documents. This always happened at the withdrawal stage. Where they blocked even the withdrawal request. So any winnings remained in your balance, until the documents were received and verified.

This is where it gets messy - because the legitimate CDD request would block withdrawals until concluded (whether positively or negatively - the player can refuse as long as they understand the risks as discussed to death in other threads).

The problem is, we're seeing threads where people are nowhere near CDD triggers for source of funds or similar, and yet Jumpman appear to be demanding it as a stalling tactic (faux-reverse). In some cases, under the incoming regulations, the player wouldn't have even triggered a background credit check (£150) - never mind an intrusive source of wealth check.

It just screams trying to take the money by any means, but being UKGC-licensed, by repeatedly moving the goalposts rather than straight up fraud. The worst part is, by the time they realise they've been trapped it's often too late - they've either "reversed" the money and lost it, panicked because they don't understand their rights (we've seen people try to go to ADR, resolver, or even self-exclude to "shortcut" the process), or worse, played on and now must comply to get the additional winnings because of how CDD regulations work.

I got caught out by this crowd over a year ago, kept asking for documents that were sent then saying they needed something else on top of that.
After a fortnight of this and after they asked for a screenshot of my PayPal account that was impossible to give as the page didnt exist. I self excluded for 5 years from Jumpman, complained to UKGC and Alderney GC and they paid a week later.
Awful crowd to deal with and better to run a million miles from them.
