Harry Potter fan?

So yesterday, a mere 13 years after the last film came out, we finally took a trip to the Harry Potter Studio Tour in Watford.
It was A-MAZE-ING!
Everything was much bigger and better than I was expecting. Anyone who gets the chance should definitely pay a visit.
Just a few of our 100+ photos...

I don't profess to know pretty much anything about Harry Potter, but I recall working in a cinema at the time of the first film's release, and how people were whooping and hollering with giddiness at the first 10 seconds of the film, the nutters!

Little did anyone anticipate the films to follow the success of the books, and now it's a cultural phenomenon!

I hear Hogwarts Legacy is quite the game, a must-have for Harry Potter devotees, and that it's selling like hot cakes! Abracadabra! (or wizarding equivalent)

Looks fantastic.

Still have not watched any from start to finish, only catching snippets from the tv at Xmas and such. Defo a series of films I should watch with the kids.

One question? You said you visited Watford, but it clearly says in your photo 'Studio Tour London'?

There is also an attempt to disguise a London Bus by painting it purple, and that looks like Paddington Station?

I'm not convinced....are you a wizard, Kingy?

With the initials KK I wouldn't be asking questions about his wizard status.:laugh::laugh:

Well Gatwick and Stansted are described as "London Airports"... and they are even further from the capital than Watford! :eek2:

London busses are only double-decker - the Knight Bus is Triple-Decker ;)
But yes, you caught me out there - the Hogwarts Express was actually at Paddington Station... and a little brown talking bear was driving it.

Was over 100 miles each way for us, but definitely worth the drive

Get watching them films!
