Sorry this is off-topic and nothing to do with gambling...

I am thinking of learning to play a new musical instrument, and one that can fit into my pocket, and feel drawn to learn to play harmonica.

I've been doing some research online and narrowed it down to two.

First is a Hohner Big River in key of D which is going for 11

Next a Lee Oscar melody maker in key of C going for 22

the reviews online say both have a nice sound and are good quality, with most folk saying that Lee Oscar is the best..... but they like the big river also...

The Lee Oscar is twice the amount in price... and I really like the Key of D, so am drawn to the big river

I was wondering if there are any harmonica players here, and which harmonica is their favourite and which has the nicest sound...

cheers

You can't go wrong with Hohner. Also it's 1/2 the price of the other one.Might be better to try the less expensive one first while you are learning then upgrade when you are comfortable.I always used/bought Hohner Marineband but played mainly blues harp.Have fun with it!.
